Also knows. Likewise, seeing, hearing, knowing, and differentiating. All of these are untrue, like dreams. Similarly, our world is like a single mote of dust in the hand of the vast, all-illuminating ocean. The clear appearance of the small containing the large is due to the immeasurable delusions of sentient beings and the manifestations of the miraculous powers of Bodhisattvas and Buddhas who have attained the ten powers. Its nature is such that even in a space as small as the eye of a needle in the sky, with the dust of the four elements such as earth, countless worlds appear as containers and contents, together with sentient beings who have accumulated similar karma. In all these appearances, the wisdom of the Victorious Ones enters and accomplishes benefit and happiness. Thus, even the three thousand worlds where benefit and happiness are accomplished are seen by non-Buddhist hermits, Hearer-Arhats, Solitary Realizer-Arhats, Bodhisattvas, and Buddhas as having increasingly greater and more numerous differences from higher to higher. This is according to the Sutra of the Inconceivable Realm and Wisdom of the Buddha: "The gods and humans of the three thousand worlds are very few. A single non-Buddhist hermit with clairvoyance sees more sentient beings on an area of land the size of a chariot wheel. Those who see the three thousand worlds are fewer than a single person meditating on the eight liberations of the Hearers, who sees more on an area of land the size of a chariot wheel. Those who see the three thousand worlds are fewer than a single Bodhisattva meditating on the eight liberations, who sees more on an area of land the size of a chariot wheel. Those who see the three thousand worlds are fewer than the eyes of the Tathagata, who see more on an area of land the size of a chariot wheel." Thus it is. The way in which the minds of such sentient beings, with their limitless realms and abodes, are tamed through the four types of taming is also the way in which beings are benefited. The taming through great merit is the twelve great deeds of the body. The deeds spoken with speech are the Three Vehicles or the One Vehicle. Whatever is spoken as an antidote to the afflictions of sentient beings who follow their understanding, there are eighty-four thousand doors of Dharma. Although it seems to be spoken with speech, it is not the self-character of sound and words, but through the power of the blessing of the realm of the great mind, it appears in accordance with the nature of manifest awareness. The taming of the mind

The gracious one knows and sees all three times, and does not discriminate between times, being in a timeless state. The state of primordial nature is that of Samantabhadra. Knowing the minds of others, and likewise possessing the great miraculous eyes and ears, etc. The six kinds of clairvoyance are never beyond time. Activities tame all, the body is constant, the mind is constant, and likewise the face is constant. The secrets of body, speech, and mind are inconceivable. With body, speech, and mind, one actually accomplishes the benefit of others, and with activities, one pacifies the reality of all beings' continuums. Thus, the supreme forms emanated from the expanse of reality, in relation to the nature of reality, possess the wisdom of 'as it is,' and in relation to phenomena, possess the wisdom of 'as many as there are.' With these two wisdoms, one leads beings in the continuums of those to be tamed, bringing them closer to peace and teaching the undifferentiated Dharma. Thus, the body tames with great merit, taming through the twelve acts, etc. In the Uttaratantra it is said: 'The Great Compassionate One knows the world, and seeing all the worlds, without moving from the Dharmakaya, with various emanated natures, shows birth, descending from the Tushita heaven, entering the womb and being born, being skilled in crafts, enjoying the company of consorts, renunciation and asceticism, going to the Bodhi tree, destroying the hosts of demons and perfect enlightenment, turning the wheel of Dharma, and showing passing into Nirvana. In impure realms, one shows remaining in existence as long as samsara lasts.' Thus it is. Speech tames with various vehicles, and in the Guhyagarbha Tantra, through the power of taming, with the vehicle of goddesses, the vehicle of Shravakas, the vehicle of Pratyekabuddhas, the vehicle of Bodhisattvas, and the unsurpassed vehicle, to dispel the conceptual thoughts of ignorance, as an antidote to the eighty-four thousand afflictions, eighty-four thousand collections of Dharma are spoken. Speech speaks, speech will speak. Thus it is. Furthermore, the ears of those to be tamed hear words and phrases that are well-structured, possessing the sixty branches of Brahma's voice, as it is said in the Abhisamayalankara: 'Speech is well-structured in words, Brahma's voice has sixty branches.' Thus, what is spoken is in accordance with the inclinations and capacities of each being to be tamed, and is heard by their individual consciousnesses, but the sound of speech, the words themselves, are not
