Beyond existence and non-existence, like the sky, without discrimination, Without defilement, pacified from the elaboration of transformation. Beyond the realm of speech, encompassed by the ultimate truth, Cannot be measured by speculative terms and reasoning. Because it contradicts wisdom, thought, and analogy. Not even the realm of activity for the lords of the ten grounds. In this, from the aspect of clarity within the sphere, the wisdom of suchness, each wisdom abiding in its own awareness, is nominally called the Buddha-nature. In reality, it transcends the elaboration of one and many, thus it is not substantial. Since the wisdom aspect of all that exists is clear within, it transcends even non-existence, becoming the possessor of the Dharma, the complete enjoyment. The nature of the five wisdoms, existing in the plan in a way that they do not mix with each other, thus it is the place where the Buddha's sons reside. To sentient beings, it appears as a form body, hearing the sound, the fragrance of the noble precepts emanates, tasting the flavor of the Dharma, feeling the touch of delight in meditation, and becoming the cause for measuring the words and meanings of discriminating wisdom, yet in its own essence it does not discriminate, and nothing can defile it, thus the manner of transcending the elaboration of transformation, as it says in the Uttaratantra: "The Tathagata, like the sky, the noble one, The cause for experiencing the six sense objects, The unarisen form and meaning, seeing and good speech, Purity, hearing, and the Sugata's precepts, The pure fragrance, the vessel, and the great noble Dharma, Tasting and meditative touch, experiencing bliss, etc., The nature itself is extremely profound, If thought of as the cause of realization, The ultimate bliss-maker, the Tathagata, like the sky, Is free from all causes." In short, the nature of the three is that emptiness is not established anywhere, and no characteristic can be determined, transcending the realm of speech, encompassed by the ultimate truth, because knowledge and speculation cannot reach it, it cannot be measured literally by terms and reasoning, because it contradicts the knowing wisdom, thought, and analogy, etc., it is not the realm of activity from the lords of the ten powers to the end of the ten grounds, as it says in the Uttaratantra: "Because it is not the realm of speech, because it is encompassed by the ultimate truth, Because it is not the place of discrimination, because it transcends analogy, Because it is unsurpassed, because it is not encompassed by existence and peace, The Buddha

Even the most excellent ones cannot fathom it. Such a principle is the realm of the Buddhas, the true wisdom as it is, the non-abiding nirvana, the nature of the Dharmakaya. It is not merely established as the two form bodies, but although it does not discriminate, it appears as the form body from the power of aspiration, accomplishing the benefit of sentient beings, and is the nature of continuous activity. As stated in the "Golden Light Sutra": "All Tathagatas possess three bodies: the Dharmakaya, the Sambhogakaya, and the Nirmanakaya. The Dharmakaya is to abide in pure true wisdom. The two bodies are merely established. The Dharmakaya is the truth and the basis of the two bodies. Why? Because apart from the Suchness of Dharma and non-discriminating wisdom, there is no other Dharma of the Buddha." The questioner asked: In the wisdom of Suchness, what is it that, although not discriminating, is able to accomplish activities? The Buddha replied: For example, although the sun, moon, water, and mirror do not discriminate, images appear. Similarly, the wisdom of Suchness, although not discriminating, accomplishes the benefit of sentient beings through the power of aspiration. The Nirmanakaya is the nirvana with remaining aggregates. The Sambhogakaya is the nirvana without remainder. The Dharmakaya is the non-abiding nirvana. Thus, the four bodies spoken of in the "Uttaratantra" and the "Abhisamayalankara" have been truly proclaimed in the sutra path. Establishing them as three bodies from the perspective of collection, as stated in the "Sutra Ornament": "It should be understood that the body of the Buddha is collected by the three bodies, and it is shown that the benefit of oneself and others is possessed of a basis by the three bodies." Such a Buddha is called the all-powerful teacher Samantabhadra. So, how does he abide in the Dharmadhatu? It is the place made manifest to the guides, in the beautiful palace of the deep, peaceful, youthful vase. The Buddhas of the three times always abide, but in terms of aspect, they do not see each other. In the Dharmadhatu, the nature of non-elaboration, the expanse of mind is one. Thus, the Dharma nature of the Buddha's own wisdom is manifest, all the elaborations of the Dharmadhatu.
