One three. Even with the Emanation Body, It dissolves into its own essence. If the signs of body, speech, and mind are complete, This is the great Bodhicitta. Possessing compassion that cherishes sentient beings, Because of this cherishing of sentient beings, For hundreds of thousands of millions of years, Even with one human body, Having perfected this meaning, Without entering the cycle of birth and death, They also attain complete and perfect enlightenment. Furthermore, who is fortunate? If they possess the signs of body and mind, Having possessed them for ten years in this way, The elements dissolve into their own place, And the appearance itself becomes invisible, Leading to the exhaustion of the nature of reality. Whose signs of body, speech, and mind, Are like this fortunate person? To whom is the fortune of completeness? Even if it is two years from now, The elements of this will dissolve into themselves, There is no doubt about this change. Thus it is said. Thus, the swiftness and slowness of liberation depend on the support of the body. Those who pass into peace in the original state, the city of Nirvana, do so because the impurities of the aggregates are purified, and they attain perfect enlightenment. Accompanied by five auspicious signs—light, sound, the holy body, relics, and the shaking of the earth—the scriptures refer to these two as manifesting enlightenment. Furthermore, it is said in that same text: If a person has excellent wisdom, In this very confused appearance, The elements dissolve into their own place, In that fruition of self-nature, The contaminated aggregate body does not appear, The fruition of self-nature manifests itself. Thus, all external signs, After true and peaceful Nirvana, There are the holy body and relics, Likewise, light and sound, And the earth will shake. Thus it is said. Thus, even those whose impurities of the aggregates are purified have four ways of dying: the death of space and the dakinis, who are liberated in the original purity of Trekchö; and the death of flames and vidyadharas, who are liberated in the spontaneous leap of Tögal. The first is that, by purifying even the subtlest impurities of wind and mind that obscure the Dharmadhatu, the inner Dharmadhatu goes to the point of exhaustion, and the outer body also dissolves into particles in an instant. Just as the space inside a vase merges with the outer space when the vase breaks, in the self-nature Dharmadhatu, the Suchness of awareness held by the aggregates merges, and the Dharmadhatu and awareness merge inseparably and attain Buddhahood. Thus, all roots of virtue are dedicated.

In the Sutra of... it says: The essence of the Tathagata is like a butter lamp inside a vase; it becomes clear when the vase is broken. This quote refutes the argument that there is no connection between the metaphor and the meaning. The second case is that, just as the corpses of dakinis and miraculously born beings are not seen at the time of death, the dependent body and the dependent consciousness merge, and in the state of being present, the body disappears invisibly like dust, and the consciousness also dissolves into the dharmadhatu and does not return, like a great arrow shot. For example, in Tragmar Monastery in Tölung Rong (Stod lung rong gi phrag dmar dgon par), Pang Sangye Gonpo (spangs sangs rgyas mgon po), the direct disciple of Vairochana, and in Wa Seng Ge Trag (wa seng ge brag), his three lineage disciples, one after another, passed away within a year, as mentioned earlier. The third case is that when the defilements of wind and mind are cleared away, the dharmadhatu where consciousness dissolves and is liberated is the same. Just as when the firewood is burned, the fire that is the source of life does not remain, the internal elements are exhausted, causing the coarse body to dissolve into a mass of light. For example, two disciples of Gyer Gom Shigpo (dgyer sgom zhig po) became masses of light in the cave of Dotshan (rdo mtshan) and then ascended into the sky. The fourth case is that when Vidyadharas transfer from one place to another, they go into the sky with sound and light, and then manifest inconceivable emanations in other pure lands, thus benefiting others. Similarly, the body born of ripened habits transforms into a light body, and manifests in order to guide others, so that all beings can see it. The great yoga master Jetsun Senge Zhab (lcags btsun seng ge'i zhabs) in the sky directly above O-yuk Chi Gong (o yug phyi gong), with light and sound, dissolved into a mass of light. As it is said in the Sutra of the Union of the Sun and Moon: The way of death of the dakinis, and the way of death of the Vidyadharas, like a fire consuming itself, disappearing like a garuda soaring in the sky, all this is the self-exhaustion of the elements, invisible and ungraspable, this is the realm of the most excellent yogi, and by becoming accustomed to this, one gains natural power. If, from the perspective of view and practice, even if enlightenment has reached its peak, for those holy beings who greatly promote the Dharma and wholeheartedly benefit sentient beings, they may not have exhausted the karmic winds through the wheel of action, but after accomplishing their own benefit, wholeheartedly
