There is nothing even slightly superior to the nature of samsara, as it says in the Kunje Gyalpo Tantra: "Self-born wisdom knows from the beginning, That wisdom which discriminates objects, Is not self-born, because it arises from objects." So, what is self-born wisdom? It is the emptiness of one's own awareness, the freedom from elaboration that does not fall into the nature of knowable objects, the self-liberation that does not grasp at the union of clarity and emptiness in the Middle Way, the natural meditation that does not fall into the license of original liberation, the peaceful abiding that does not depend on the object of focus or the focusing subject, the superior seeing that does not judge objects with conceptual consciousness, the equanimity that does not waver from the self-face of primordial purity, the spontaneous accomplishment that is unceasing in post-meditation, the original liberation that is not mixed with the all-ground, the awareness that is not suddenly bound because it is not mixed with consciousness, vast, unmade, uncorrected, unmeditated, unscattered, unconfused, inconceivable. Do not elevate it with views, meditation, and conduct, do not demean it with conceptual analysis, do not debase its nobility with inferiority, remain openly transparent, naked in emptiness, relaxed in primordial purity, merely labeling it as such. In reality, it is impossible to know whether these things exist or do not exist in their nature. As it says in the Mother Sutra: "Subhuti, all phenomena are merely labels and designations." Whatever is merely labeled and designated is temporary, praised by the King of Mountains himself. Therefore, all the truths of the path of learning are connected with the obscurations of knowledge. The reality of selflessness does not abide in the realm of sound and expression. As it says in the Rangshar: "When awareness is free from elaboration, How could there be delusion and ignorance? When wisdom is free from mind, How could there be habitual tendencies and stains?" And, "From the dharmata of unceasing awareness, The expanse of Samantabhadra itself arises, The intention is the expanse of great wisdom, Beyond thought, speech, and conception, Like the magical displays of the sky." The reason is that if stone and bone do not mix in awareness, not thinking of anything, taking the example of an egg, and clinging to the view of Hashang, which is without speech or thought, is a slander against the Victorious Mother, and is merely an expression that does not distinguish between consciousness and wisdom. In this way, the banner of mind and mental factors, held by the constant view of the eight consciousnesses, is moved by the wind of conceptual thought, and is the remainder of the superimposition that engages in taking objects.

Then what else could this view be? It's just the preliminary stage of the first dhyana. So, what is vipassana characterized by? In the Bodhisattva-pitaka, it says: A Bodhisattva does not abide even in the correct thought, that is, the thought of peace. Vipassana is without view; even the view itself is not seen. Whoever sees it in this way, he sees it correctly. It is said, in the Two Truths, that mind and mental factors, all of the three realms, are fabricated, are conceptualizations. In particular, what is beyond the elaboration of the mind is unspeakable, unthinkable, and inexpressible. If it is said that this is only possible in a state of deep sleep, then the coemergent wisdom of the third empowerment, and the state of the five objects and consciousness dissolving into the dharmakaya and awakening from the alaya, all these inconceivable realities, each's self-aware wisdom, the nature of non-conceptualization, all disappear because fools cling to meditation. Therefore, they are afraid of the meaning of the twelve ayatanas, such as the eye, and the eighteen dhatus, such as the eye-dhatu, and the emptiness of dependent origination, such as the absence of ignorance, and the emptiness of liberation, such as the absence of the exhaustion of ignorance. Therefore, the obscuration of the mind's clinging to reality has not escaped perversion, and it contradicts the meaning of nirvana, which can be known from the commentary on the Mother Sutra. It is said, in the Ratnakuta Sutra: The wheel of conceptualization loves the solitary places of samsara, constantly creating karma (藏文:ལས,梵文天城体:कर्म,梵文罗马拟音:karma,汉语字面意思:业) and afflictions, manifesting and accumulating hundreds of thousands of sufferings. Therefore, because the seed of conceptualization or the basis of arising, that is, the root of the discriminating consciousness, has not been cut off, as soon as conceptualization is mentioned, the habits of the past, present, and future will manifest, so that the consciousness cannot be controlled and is considered to be scattered. Apart from that, the mind that is extremely subtle and vast, which is invisible from the three: object, sense consciousness, and feeling, is also considered to be discriminating wisdom even in the state of samadhi, and is taken as something to be adopted. Therefore, all the inconceivable realities of the nature of phenomena have become objects that can be analyzed by the mind. In the Lankavatara Sutra, it says: Just as those with cataracts mistakenly grasp a wheel of hair, so too, the clinging to things is the perversion of fools.
