It is like proclaiming that yaks, lions, etc., are also horned because they have horns. Why is that? Because in the stage of the first practitioner, all views, meditations, actions, and results must rely on and practice the conditioned path of truth that is solely based on conceptual mind. Therefore, in order for the vehicle (Tibetan: ཐེག་པ་) to be true in its own place, the establishment of tenets below Anu Yoga (Tibetan: ཨ་ནུ་ཡོ་ག་) is completely futile. Here, in the stage of explaining the special completion stage of the noble path, if one is afraid of the profound words of the result that transcends cause, effect, and effort as the path of Dharmadhatu (Tibetan: ཆོས་ཀྱི་དབྱིངས་), and engages in various affirmations and negations of what is apparent and not apparent, then it is merely showing off one's realization of not having seen the profound truth of one's own nature. Like this, to practice the resultant Rupakaya, one does not need such a cause, because the ultimate nature of the Buddha is the Dharmakaya. As it is said (in scripture): "Those who see me in form, those who seek me in sound, those people are on the wrong path and cannot see the Tathagata. All Buddhas are Dharmakaya." One should not think that such a Dharmakaya has no awareness. As it is said in the Manjushri Tantra: "Although the face of wisdom has no mouth, eyes, or ears, the light of wisdom knows what is real and unreal as it is." If one can attain the Dharmakaya that possesses the three doors of liberation, then from that, the way in which the pure and adorned Rupakaya appears spontaneously, as it is said in the self-arisen (teaching): "In the state of emptiness, the sun of awareness rises, from the inexhaustible great treasure mandala, the unchanging five bodies spontaneously arise, in the state of non-thought, dualistic bliss is enjoyed." If one does not understand it in this way, then from the state of Dharma nature where nothing exists, one does not even understand the appearance of the images of samsara and nirvana. Therefore, in order to attain the Sugati, one must meditate on the body of the Sugati, and in order to attain the Durgati, one must meditate on the body of the Durgati, which is too extreme. Therefore, Lhundrup Dorje Nyingpo (Tibetan: ལྷུན་གྲུབ་རྡོ་རྗེ་སྙིང་པོ་) is to make awareness the path, thereby becoming accustomed to the reality as it is. Like this, direct awareness is free from all elaborations, and is already established as a Buddha from the beginning, just like the nature of the sun has no brightness or dimness. The eighth stage explained as an antidote to small minds

Oh, those With the mind mixed with the clinging of the eight consciousnesses, relying on the generation and completion stages with and without signs, just as one might wish to see the sun through the cause and condition of purifying dirt with dirt, there is such a difference, therefore, it should be repeatedly emphasized that the mistakes of the view, meditation, conduct, and result of external conceptualizations should not be mixed into the self-arisen wisdom. As the Kunjed Gyalpo Tantra says: "The nature of the single Dharma, the Bodhicitta, with the three samadhis and the five kinds of rituals, on the self-continuum's pure Vajra body, meditating on the deities of the four kinds of approach and accomplishment, making appearances without inherent existence, searching and accomplishing, transforming one's own mind into the deity, yet one does not see one's own mind as unmade. Regarding the self-nature, the Bodhicitta, even the teacher who teaches the Kunjed Gyalpo Tantra said, 'One's own mind is inherently liberated in its nature, there is no prophecy to meditate on the three teachers. If one seeks and practices meditation, it is abandoning one's own mind. O great Bodhisattva, if you wish to accomplish your own mind, it is accomplished by non-desire, therefore, do not be distracted in the equality of non-conceptualization, abide naturally in the realm of non-acceptance and rejection, abide in the state of non-movement. The mind is the nature of suchness, all dharmas are accomplished in suchness. Do not fabricate in suchness, do not cultivate anything other than self-nature, if you seek, even the Buddhas cannot find it in the Dharmadhatu, what was done in the past is finished, so there is no need to do it now, what was accomplished in the past is finished, so there is no need to cultivate it now.'" and so on. When meditating in this way, some mistaken views and meditations within one's own school say that whatever thought arises is self-arisen wisdom. This is because they have not recognized the Dharmata of awareness, and their power and activity are scattered in the direction of samsara. Thoughts are other-born from habits, therefore they follow objects. Because they can be broken and destroyed from appearing objects, they grasp at form. Feelings crave and experience the nature of this and that. Perceptions agitate and analyze various appearances. Volitions create contaminated mental continuums. Consciousness covers self-arisen wisdom with objects, and even if one thinks that one is not distracted and is simply abiding in the continuous stream of thoughts of mind and mental factors, in reality, the mind is still accompanied by thoughts and discriminations.
