Attachment is concentration. Non-duality is wisdom. Thus it is said. In the Sutra of Vajra Samadhi, it is said: The mind does not waver in emptiness, and the six perfections are gathered within it. Thus it is said. Thus, the ten perfections and the ten bhumis are gathered by skillful means and wisdom. Above that, the result of the skillful means of those bhumis is: Skillful means and wisdom, the supreme of skillful means. Thus, the eleventh, with all-illuminating light, that is, radiating light everywhere, making all sentient beings who are to be tamed worthy vessels, therefore it is commonly known as such. What is called the supreme wisdom is: The non-learning union, although not moving from the all-illuminating bhumi, possesses wisdom that is unattached and without obscurations, and possesses the supreme of compassion without object, that is, the unattached lotus holder. Pervading all samsara and nirvana, yet not stained by the mud of existence, therefore possessing the epithet of lotus holder. What is called the most supreme is: the bhumi that has become the most supreme of both skillful means and wisdom. Such blessings cause the body, speech, and mind of the Buddhas to accomplish the qualities of the inexhaustible wheel of adornment, perfectly complete. Thus, the secret of the body is inconceivable, the secret of speech is inconceivable, and the secret of mind is inconceivable, all three being inexhaustible and possessing all aspects. Among them, the secret of the body being inconceivable means that its limit cannot be realized even by the lords of the ten bhumis. And because it possesses all aspects, it shows whatever body is to be tamed. Speech teaches the Dharma in the languages of the six realms. Mind knows the wisdom of how things are and how many things there are in an instant, therefore it is also called the all-knowing wisdom. What is called adornment is that it is beautiful to both oneself and others, therefore it is called adornment. Wheel means that the activity of benefiting beings is continuous, therefore it is called wheel. That is, the continuity of both the agent and the action is constant in the wheel of continuity until samsara is empty. Therefore, it is known as the great assembly of the wheel of letters, or by the supreme of skillful means and wisdom. Even so, in many of the old and new tantras, regarding the way of progressing on the bhumis and paths bound by vajra words, I have not seen the Indian and Tibetan masters agree on one point. Secret

As for the timing, there are five stages. First, in the union of action, the eighth bhumi will be attained. When the third appearance is attained, it will be perfected on the tenth bhumi. Some believe that after traversing the path and bhumis of the characteristic vehicle, in order to add something extra to the path, the boundary for entering mantra is from the tenth bhumi onwards. Among these, for the two cases of attaining enlightenment in one lifetime and attaining enlightenment in the last lifetime, the latter does not need to practice from the generation stage up to mental quiescence, but only needs to practice from the illusory body. They believe that the secret empowerment is conferred in the evening, the illusory body is manifested, the third empowerment is conferred at midnight, the clear light is manifested, the fourth empowerment is conferred at dawn, and the non-learning union is manifested, believing that enlightenment can be attained in one night. They also believe that traversing to the tenth bhumi through the characteristic vehicle's own path is sufficient to replace the arising in the continuum from the generation stage up to mental quiescence. However, there are obstacles from other views. It is explicitly stated in the sutras that one arises from the samadhi of unwavering concentration, enters into clear light, and from that attains union. If clear light and union become common paths for both sutra and tantra, then the illusory body and so on will also become common. If the sutras are quoted in this context, it indicates the boundary for entering mantra from the path of the sutras. Therefore, in all five stages, quoting the sutras similarly indicates the boundary for entering mantra from their respective sutra paths. In particular, in the three stages, "The stages of blessing oneself, what cannot be attained by what, in the sutras, tantras, and discriminations, that is a useless effort." Because even if one makes efforts on the path of the sutras, those efforts are said to be futile. Therefore, those who say that the dharma terms of the outer tantras are the same as the inner ones, equate the vast difference in power and ability between ordinary yogis and the higher yogis of the noble ones, which is too extreme. They refute this with vast amounts of scriptural and logical proofs, and that the realization of the noble ones without relying on mantra does not exist, which is a validly established knowledge, as stated in the Manifest Enlightenment of the Ornament of Clear Realization: "All the perfect Buddhas who have passed away, and those who
