How could the essence of earth's wisdom be severed? From the 'Noble Heap of Jewels Sutra,' it is also free from mind, intellect, and consciousness, and does not abandon the state of samadhi. This is the inconceivable secret of the Tathagata's heart. How should one speak of this? Thus, the mind is the nature of pervasive conceptualization and samsara, so it is said that the mind has no mind, and it is gathered into the nature of the ground. The nature of mind is free from elaboration and is the nature of nirvana, so the nature of mind is luminosity. Thus, clarifying the nature of the essence is reasonable. Therefore, the characteristic of mind is that it possesses the nature of intellect and consciousness, so it is the impurity to be purified. The characteristic of wisdom is that it possesses the nature of coemergent wisdom, which is the pure fruit. Sarahah also said: 'When the impurity of the mind is purified, it is coemergent. At that time, there is no entry of conflicting factors.' The distinction between mind and wisdom is also made by him: 'In the assembly of gatherings, the mind is distracted by all elaborations, without change, its nature is stable. The essence of mind is well bound within oneself, the mind like a madman is without action, the wisdom unpolluted by extremes is to be cultivated.' Thus. Those who have not well distinguished this characteristic, prostrate to the mind like a wish-fulfilling jewel. It seems that some people also mispronounce this one line, its meaning is to establish that the mind is the pervader of the Tathagatagarbha, so it is said thus. The nature of mind alone is the seed of all things, in which arises existence and nirvana. It can be known by examining this. If one does not think so, then immediately, if the mind is bound, it becomes bondage, if it is liberated, there is no doubt. Whatever the fool is bound by, the wise quickly liberate themselves from it. Because the meaning of what is said is not seen, one should still strive to rely on solitude in the future. Also, dividing from the perspective of the pervaded and the pervader, because wisdom has the obscuration of mind, it is called sentient being, the nature of mind is liberated as wisdom, so it is called Buddha, abiding in the same ground. The thought of wisdom pervades wisdom, even for the ignorant nature of sentient beings, there is the dharma of wisdom.
