Relative to freedom from elaboration, both the view to be realized and the realizing agent that realizes its nature through wisdom are equal in truth and falsehood, and since self-nature is not established, like the horns of a rabbit and the child of a barren woman, they are merely nominally designated from the perspective of words. In reality, there is no thinking or considering, no believing it to be, and no various mental activities, like moxibustion that hits the mark. As the Great Garuda says: There is no Buddha, what is the cause of who is bound? Delusion and ignorance, to whom do sentient beings belong? There is no name either. Therefore, originally not liberated, later liberation does not appear. Who desires the fruit of a path without a basis? Because of desire, this obscures the state of liberation. The upper part is clear, and the nature of being and non-being, Permanence and annihilation, cause and effect, are the basis of all tantras. Boundless, like the expanse of space. Divided into: scattered words, conversations, and explanations in the tantric self-doctrine. The first is that, for the wisdom that is free from mind, there is no separation of modifications, so no traces of fabrication are added. In the nature of ultimate truth, there are no two truths and no cause and effect, so it is free from the dependence of new liberation. The three bodies appear in the path, not relying on other knowable things, so there is nothing that is not liberated. The second is that, what is said in the manner of conversation is not mistaken in essence, the root of conceptualization is cut off in nature, and it is free from the attachment to characteristics. Divided into: conversations that forget all employment are the vital winds. The nature of the mind of the vital winds is pacified in the nature of reality, and from the source of wisdom, the key to the severance of the rope connecting the three doors of phenomena The flow of liberation is liberated in its own place, and the speech of samsara and nirvana is cut off. Conversations that happen all the time are: There is nothing that is not said in the realm, so it pervades samsara and nirvana. There is no attachment to emptiness, so there is no change in essence. There is no fabrication in both, so the self-abiding wisdom is what I am attached to. The third is that, the pith instructions of the tantric self-doctrine have no acceptance or rejection in samsara and nirvana. The nature of reality does not abide in words and letters, so emptiness cannot be touched by terminology. Divided into the unity of view, practice, and result, freedom from elaboration pervades the ground. There is no good or bad in karma, so the three realms appear as completely liberated. Self-nature appears as empty and clear, so there is no benefit or harm of good and evil. There are no letters in characteristics, so various vehicles will not attain Buddhahood, so the faculties are liberated in a sudden and immediate way.

There are two: the view of apparent imputation is non-action, and the mind's thoughts are integrated into non-arising. The first is: because the essence lacks Dharma-nature, even the name of Buddha is not established. Because the nature does not cease, samsara appears as distinct, and the characteristics do not abide in one, therefore there is no limit to view and meditation. The second is: because the essence is pure in non-arising, afflictions dissolve without a basis. Although the nature appears without ceasing, it is free from acceptance and rejection, action and effort. Because the characteristic is primordially liberated, the source of samsara and nirvana collapses. At these times, the heat of view and meditation is eliminated in the manner of bloodletting and obstacle removal, that is: when the view wavers, one knows the flaws of samsara; when the view is obtained, the body and speech gain heat; when the view is stable, samsara and nirvana are distinguished; when meditation is nourished, wind and mind become self-sufficient; when meditation is obtained, the mind enters the path; when meditation is mature, the power of awareness is perfected. When behavior wavers, there are no taboos in behavior; when behavior is obtained, illusory appearances are subdued; when behavior is stable, the heat of the three bodies is attained. Therefore, by view, the obstacles of Dharma-nature are removed, and one attains Buddhahood without relying on Dharma; by meditation, the obstacles of wandering thoughts are removed, and all thoughts appear as meditation; by behavior, the obstacles of appearances are removed, and the causes and conditions of appearances are liberated in Dharma-nature. Thus, the three, view, meditation, and action, sometimes hiding one and revealing two, and sometimes hiding two and revealing one, etc., are famous terms because of losing the key point of grasping and the object, and thoroughly revealing awareness, which is an extremely profound instruction. For example, in the Madhyamaka school, the arguments of Vajra Splinter and existence, non-existence, arising, and cessation are like this. Such profound instructions have an outer circle like the body, an inner circle like the eyes, a secret circle like the heart, and a most secret, unsurpassed circle like the Completion Stage. As it says in "The Lamp That Illuminates": The outer circle is like the body, extensively explaining terms; the inner circle is like the eyes, what is seen is the Dharma of symbols; the secret circle is like the heart, what is remembered is the Dharma of essence; this is like a person with a complete body. Among them, the outer circle is: because afflictions are not established in the essence, the five poisons are transformed into the path; because there is no effort or accomplishment in the nature, all appearances are the adornment of Dharma-nature; the characteristic
