Regarding this, although there are many debates about fairness, just as a fish feels comfortable in water, merely because the terms in language seem smooth, it is not true to think that one has seen the essence of reality. As stated in the Sutra of the Essence of the Buddha: Neither ordinary beings, nor Shravakas, nor Pratyekabuddhas, nor Bodhisattvas can see the essence of the Buddha as it is. For example, a blind man asks another about the color of ghee, and the other replies that it is like snow. When the blind man touches the snow, he perceives the color of ghee as cold. He asks again: Is it like the wing of a swan? Hearing the sound of a swan's wing, he perceives the color of snow as noisy. He asks what the color of the wing is like? It is like a conch shell. Touching the conch shell, he feels it is smooth, and so he also thinks that ghee is smooth. No matter how he is told, the blind man can never truly know the color, and similarly, it is extremely difficult to see the nature of the Buddha. Thus it is said in the sutra. The reason it is so difficult is none other than the clinging to the five aggregates. When one transcends the eight consciousnesses and directly sees the wisdom of the noble ones without acceptance or rejection, then one can understand the true meaning of the profound definitive sutras. As stated in the Sutra of the Moon Lamp: The realms of the world are purely empty. Whatever sutras I have spoken, the words are different, but the meaning is the same, and cannot all be expressed. If one practices one phrase, then one will practice all of them. All that the Buddhas have spoken is to explain the many dharmas in detail, and all dharmas are emptiness. Any person who is skilled in meaning, if they learn these words, the Buddha's teachings will not be rare. Thus it is said in the sutra. Similarly, according to the three stages of guiding beings to be tamed, the Dharani Lord Asked Sutra says: Son of lineage, for example, a skilled gem craftsman who knows well how to purify gems. He takes a precious gem that is not completely purified from various types of gems, first cleans it with strong salt water, and then purifies it with tools as fine as strands of hair. But this does not mean he will give up his efforts. After that, he will clean it with strong broth and then thoroughly purify it with wool. But this does not mean he will give up his efforts,

After that, the dross of great medicine is used to remove the dirt, and then it is thoroughly wiped with a thin cloth. After wiping like this, the dirt is removed, and it is called the great Vaidurya jewel. Son of the lineage, similarly, the Tathagata also knows the completely impure realm of sentient beings, and with the words of ignorance, suffering, selflessness, and inexhaustible aversion, he causes sentient beings who are attached to samsara to generate aversion, thereby introducing them into the holy Dharma Vinaya. Only in this way, the Tathagata is not abandoning diligence. After that, with the words of emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, he enables them to realize the nature of the Tathagata. Only in this way, the Tathagata is not abandoning diligence. After that, with the words of the irreversible wheel of Dharma, the words of the three wheels being completely pure, he causes sentient beings with various natures to enter the realm of the Tathagata. So it is said. This metaphor compares the realm of sentient beings to a precious jewel that is impure with defilements. First, it is wiped with salt water and hair, which represents the purifying effect of the first turning of the wheel of Dharma; then it is wiped with fish juice and wool, which represents the purifying effect of the intermediate turning of the wheel of Dharma; then it is wiped with the juice of haritaki and a thin cloth, which represents the purifying effect of the final turning of the wheel of Dharma. This shows that the latter has more purifying power than the former. Therefore, the first turning of the wheel of Dharma mainly causes sentient beings to become disgusted with samsara, the second turning of the wheel of Dharma shows the nature of the Tathagatagarbha, and the third turning of the wheel of Dharma shows that for sentient beings with various intentions, the Tathagatagarbha is already inherent in their nature. Therefore, among the two types of Mahayana lineages, for the sentient beings to be tamed for the sake of the intermediate, there is no need to rely on the final turning of the wheel of Dharma, and they can understand the intent of the intermediate turning of the wheel of Dharma by their own power; while for the sentient beings to be tamed for the sake of the lower, since they cannot understand in this way, they need to seek the intent of the intermediate turning of the wheel of Dharma. The view that these two are sharp and dull faculties is reasonable when the view is determined by sharp analysis through hearing and thinking. However, this backward-looking understanding is a view at the level of consciousness in the category of understanding, so for the things to be known...
