The third Vajradhara is complete. Thus, for the general and particular external conditions of the completion stage including appearances, what is known as the path of means, which relies on the body, is that from all the sacred Dharma Vinaya and Sutra Pitaka and Abhidhamma Pitaka, the woman who is indicated as the source of all afflictions is here regarded as the source of emptiness, the mother of the Victorious Ones or the nature of Prajnaparamita, and that itself is made the path by the ritual of skillful means. That is, the nature of the body's channels abides in the rain of wisdom, and by making the means of wind and bindu the path, all the channels are transformed into the central channel of Dharmata. The nature of the life force and downward-clearing force abides in the rain of wisdom, and by making the means of giving the path, the flow of drops becomes the wind of wisdom. The six objects abide in the rain of wisdom, and by making the means of the six senses that do not cling to objects as real, the six aggregates arise as wisdom. Seeing, hearing, feeling, and so on abide in the rain of wisdom, and by making the means of transforming the eight consciousnesses into mere wisdom the path, they are liberated into the unborn Bodhicitta. By acting in this way in all waking states, at the time of sleep or death, the absorption of the four elements is a means, the absorption of the senses is wisdom, the absorption of the gross is a means, the absorption of the subtle is wisdom, the wind-mind is workable, the two accumulations are complete, and at the three times of death, the dissolution of the knots of the channels is a means, the movement of the bindu is wisdom, the gathering of the wind is a means, the cessation of conceptual thought is wisdom, the absorption of the subtle is a means, and the arising of clear light is wisdom. Therefore, by relying on means, wisdom is accomplished, so it is called the path of means. In particular, by relying on the wisdom of the four joys brought about by the bliss of absorption, because the element of wind that has become the mount of conceptual thought ceases, in accordance with the power of the cessation of the eighty types of conceptual thought of nature, the four emptinesses are experienced. With the co-emergent wisdom as the ground, the inconceivable wisdom with the form of Dharmata-sky, which is unchanging, is such that all the great accomplished yogis, without relying on this distinction of means, no one can realize it. From the Tantra it says: The excellent mother who possesses all aspects, The beautiful one who is emptiness-wisdom, Gives birth to all the Victorious Ones.

Is the Mother. Without relying on this, one cannot attain Buddhahood. Thus it is said. Therefore, relying on the proximate cause, one can transform a person with self-continuum into a noble being in an instant, giving rise to an uninterrupted path all at once, hence it is called the path of means. Moreover, the absorption of life force is the perfection of abandonment due to the complete purification of obscurations. The absorption of mind is the manifestation of perfect realization by merging into luminosity and arising as union. Second, the completion stage without appearance is: Whatever the generation and completion stages that have been transformed, all appearances of the pure vessel and essence, animate and inanimate, dissolve into light and are absorbed into the seed syllable of the heart, or bindu. This also, from the lower stages, becomes emptiness, and remains in the very nature of space, which is the realm of great wisdom. The generation stage prevents the clinging to the truth of appearances. The completion stage abandons the clinging and conceptualization of illusion. The co-emergent wisdom of bliss and clarity, non-conceptual, arises. These unsurpassed completion stages of non-leakage are not taught below the unsurpassed tantras. For those of sharp faculties, it is the close path to becoming Vajradhara in one lifetime, it is extremely profound and hidden. Therefore, the generation and completion stages that appear like the palm of the hand, with their objects of focus, must ultimately be gathered into the inconceivable completion stage. For example, in the stage of the generation stage, the pure vessel and essence, including the deity and the palace, are also dissolved into light and absorbed into the seed syllable of the heart.
