Through speech, by measuring with accurate measures, one will come to understand the knowable. Thus, relying on the three kinds of trust established by the three measures, to understand the meaning of the tantra, as it says in the Kalachakra: First, one should trust the guru. After that, one should trust oneself. After that, one should trust the king of tantras. Thus, through the three kinds of trust, one will fully realize the meaning of the tantra. So it is. Furthermore, regarding the tenets of the mantra's own tradition, one must first correctly understand the suchness of reality as the basis, lineage, and nature of existence, as the feet of the Victorious One said: In this regard, first cherish understanding the nature of reality. Although there are many appearances due to the power of the vehicle, the definitive essence is the non-dual truth, which is the fresh treasury of all Buddhas. So it is said. Knowing this cannot be determined merely by seemingly reasonable reasoning, so one should seek a qualified guru and trust him from the bottom of one's heart, regarding him as a Buddha. With the iron hook of devotion, control the guru's mind, the wisdom that is extremely non-conceptual, and not doubting the Dharma nature that one sees directly, this is called trusting oneself. As it says in the Two Examinations: Not spoken by others, co-emergent. It cannot be found anywhere, it is known from the guru's expedient teachings and one's own mind. So it is. At that time, not only is it the mere recognition of terms, but the way in which reality abides is understood as it is, so all phenomena are without arising or ceasing in the ultimate truth, and in the conventional truth, they do not cease like illusion, conforming to the Prajnaparamita and mere terms, on the path of words, there is no second acceptance of the views of Sutra and Tantra, however, in the path of mantra, all aspects of the conventional appear as the play of deities that are completely pure, and the two truths are simultaneously integrated into the Great Perfection of inherent nature, without beginning or end, therefore the two stages are neither one-sided nor non-one-sided, if one can understand the difference that the objects of mind that are contemplated and analyzed by discriminating thought cannot be reintegrated, then the reality of the view of Mahamudra is also explained like oral instructions.

Seeing that one abides in the meaning of the tantras, one will generate extraordinary faith. Saraha said, "Samsara and Nirvana are equal, that is the Great Seal." That is to say, the defilements that are temporarily taken as one's own in the ground state are purified by means of skillful means or the two stages of generation and completion of the path. The first of these (generation stage) has already been explained. The meaning of the second (completion stage) is that, in relation to the nature of the object to be purified, the adventitious mistaken nature, the imputed, and its seed aspect, the means of purification are taught as two stages, generation and completion. As it says in the latter part of the Essence Tantra, "The union of the forms of the deities, the order of the moon, vajra, etc., is called the generation stage. The yoga of self-existing nature is called the completion stage." Similarly, the noble teacher also said, "The generation stage is like a ladder. For those who desire the completion stage, this method is taught by the complete Buddha as a series of steps." If we consider the object to be purified, the generation stage and the completion stage are different, then first, the necessity of the generation stage is that, in the ordinary state, due to imputation, the appearance of the defiled Suchness is imputed, and the vessel and essence, which are made by imputation, are grasped as ordinary. The artificial generation stage purifies this. In addition, the view of nihilistic emptiness is also reversed. From the point of view of the path, one traverses the seven impure grounds, and the result is the arrangement of the interdependence of the form body. As it says in the Vajra Dakini Tantra, "Whatever action, such as mandalas, is done with an artificial mind, clarifies external actions, and is praised for those who are capable of initial action." Therefore, it is also taught that the completion stage is the basis of the generation stage. Secondly, the necessity of the completion stage is that, on the noble path, it is called the yoga of manifest deities, which is free from artificiality, that is, it does not abide in the form of faces and arms, but relies on the deity body of bliss and co-emergence, which is the union of bliss, which is the nature of a lump. As it says in the Compendium of Origins, "All those channels are the body, which is the cause of virtue. From that collection, what truly arises is the nature of the deity of the body, which transcends form and becomes a lump." By this, the defilements of the habitual tendencies of the object to be purified are purified, and from the point of view of the path, one traverses the three pure grounds, and the result is the co-emergent great bliss.
