One practices the samadhi of accomplishing [goals]. What is the emptiness that possesses all excellent aspects? It is that which is inseparable from generosity, inseparable from ethics, inseparable from patience, inseparable from diligence, inseparable from meditation, inseparable from wisdom, inseparable from skillful means, and so forth, extensively taught. Therefore, the samadhi that possesses the limbs of enlightenment and accomplishes all qualities is such that no matter what kind of samadhi virtue is accomplished, it is practiced in connection with the six perfections and the six paramitas, and it is the samadhi that benefits sentient beings. Moreover, like this, abiding in one's own samadhi and placing others in happiness is like the generosity of samadhi, and one should also understand this for others. Having obtained the actual mind of samadhi, one emanates to whatever one desires and pleases, and does the benefit of others, and so forth. Thus, in the Ornament of the Sutras, it says: The sons of the Conqueror, possessing many samadhis, accomplish all aspects of meditation. Abiding excellently in the bliss of meditation, they rely on inferior births with compassion. Also, by that same meditation, they place all beings in the three enlightenments. Since meditation is completely seized by wisdom, it remains inexhaustible in the world. So it is said. Now, to show the result of all five perfections, the perfection of wisdom.

Because it is not present in generosity and so on, it is also immeasurable. As it is said in the "Small Commentary": "Through the self arising from hearing, thinking, and meditating, or through the union of samadhi, and through the wisdom arising from direct perception and inference, etc." Therefore, the essence of wisdom refers to the suchness of higher seeing (vipassanā). From the aspect of function, it destroys the aggregates of afflictions, knows phenomena and entities, passes from the city of existence to the place without sorrow, and the six perfections, such as generosity, also increasingly rely on the transcendent wisdom. Thus, striving for the meaning of the three wisdoms, some afflictions are directly destroyed, and some are destroyed from the root, and one also knows without error the reality of all phenomena, the profound nature of reality and the confused appearances of entities. Having known this, one can effortlessly transcend the city of existence, which is difficult to overcome due to sins and afflictions, and reach the state of nirvana, and the five perfections also increasingly merge into excellence. As it is said in the "Precious Garland": "The later arises dependent on the former, because they are in inferior and superior states, and because they are coarse and subtle, they are stable in order." Thus, the qualities and fruits of all five abide in the perfection of wisdom itself. As it is said in the "Compilation": "The five perfections and all the qualities of enlightenment, all of these rely on the perfection of wisdom." And the teacher Shantideva said: "Afflictions and the obscurations of knowledge, emptiness is the antidote to darkness." Thus, as long as it is not grasped by the perfection of wisdom, the five, such as generosity, are like the blind. For example, even if all the work of a painter is completed, if the eyes are not opened, he will not receive wages. As the former said: "When wisdom has completely grasped it, then the eyes are found, and one obtains this name. For example, the work of painting is completed but there are no eyes, as long as the eyes are not drawn, one will not receive wages." Therefore, if we first briefly establish the benefits of wisdom, the teacher Āryadeva said: "This visible and invisible quality, the root of all is wisdom. Therefore, in order to accomplish both, one should fully grasp wisdom." That is, first
