Moreover, it also constantly abides in equality. That is how it is. Regarding this, if measured from the perspective of the three samadhis: the Samadhiraja Sutra, the Noble Heroic Progress Sutra, and the Vajra-like Samadhi included in the Uninterrupted Path, then the first is that all mundane dharmas are seen as eight examples of illusion, and one is completely accustomed to this samadhi. From the general aspect of conditioned phenomena, as well as the five aggregates, the order of the arising of existence, and especially for the aggregate of consciousness, which is the agent of all, like an illusion, although without root and without a place to abide, it still appears. Such an illusion-like samadhi has entered into the experience of practice, and having obtained mastery, one also sees it in the same way in the subsequent attainment from the fundamental samadhi. This is constant and uninterrupted, thereby completely purifying the obscuration of illusion. Like a magician, one performs the activities of illusion as one wishes and obtains mastery. This is called the Illusion-like Samadhi. The second is that the uncontaminated samadhi of the bodhisattva at the stage of the tenth bhumi, the wisdom of its subsequent attainment, performs vast deeds like the Tathagata, but there is no fear of falling into the nirvana without remainder, and there is no need to prevent it. Therefore, all the qualities of the lower bhumis are transformed into extraordinary qualities, and even after becoming a Buddha, the activity of showing the form body is the Heroic Progress Samadhi itself. For example, when a hero enters the battlefield, there are the four limbs of the army; when a universal monarch goes forth, the seven precious things go with him; and the brave and fearless one abides in the sound, meaning, and definition of overcoming the enemy. Similarly, wherever the bodhisattva who has attained this samadhi goes, all the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment also follow, and therefore it is called the Heroic Progress Samadhi. The stage at which the power of this samadhi is perfected is the eighth bhumi itself, and the path corresponding to it is also present in the practitioners of the path of accumulation, but it is merely practicing through faith. The third is the Uninterrupted Path that abandons the ninth abandonment of the peak of existence, as stated in the Abhidharmakosha: 'The ninth uninterrupted path is like a vajra.' Just as a vajra destroys all things, this path also destroys all subtle defilements, and therefore it is called the Vajra-like Samadhi. This is also an inferior path.

The way of being gathered by two kinds of excellence. As it is said in the Abhidharmasamuccaya: What is the Vajra-like Samadhi? It is gathered by the path of application and the path of no interval. What is gathered by the path of application is that from then on, all obstacles cannot be turned back, and all obstacles can be destroyed. What is gathered by the path of no interval is that under it, the knowledge of exhaustion and the knowledge of non-arising arise. Like this. Among them, the meaning of non-retrogression as described by the Hinayana refers to the weakening of the extremely subtle part of the afflictive obscurations; the Mahayana refers to the weakening of the subtle cognitive obscurations. What is the path of application? It is that which eliminates afflictions. Like this. That is, in the path of application, before obtaining the nature of that path, all obstacles cannot turn it back, and it means that it can outwardly destroy all obstacles. The Vajra-like Samadhi gathered by the path of no interval is the wisdom at the end of the continuum, because the path of no learning arises in the next moment. Therefore, in order to attain the unsurpassed Bodhi by relying on these Samadhis, one should practice the common characteristic of all knowable objects, that is, the non-conceptual Samadhi with Suchness as the object, and become one with it. After that, when the session is over, untie the lotus position, focus on all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions, prostrate and make the seven-branch offering, and aspire to practice the Samantabhadra's conduct and aspiration that comes from the Avatamsaka Sutra, and should also focus on what is said in it: With skillful means, wisdom, Samadhi, and liberation, become an inexhaustible treasury of all merits. In all subsequent attainments, with the three accumulations of merit such as generosity, and in the state of equipoise, with the nature of Samadhi as the basis, and with the nature of wisdom as the increase, if the accumulation of the two wisdom accumulations is bound, if it can be bound with the Paramita of diligence, then this Samadhi can directly realize the emptiness of all kinds of excellence. As it is said in the Arya Ratnakuta Sutra: He puts on the armor of Maitreya, dwells in the place of great compassion, and directly realizes the emptiness of all kinds of excellence.
