Sa. As it is said, "Keep far away from children." Then, in order to point out the faults of objects: Objects are worse than poison, because their ripening is harsh. Even in the moment of enjoyment, there is a taste of pursuit. But not in one lifetime, but in all lifetimes, it cannot be cured by supreme secret mantras and medicine. Whoever has not tamed the elephant of the mind, there is no greater deceptive illusion than objects. As long as the aggregates of formation are placed on the shoulder, one should attend to peaceful forests. Moreover, the intense desire for objects agitates the six senses, thereby being bound by its iron chains in the prison of samsara, causing virtuous deeds to be wasted. Desires are like salt water, no matter how much they are used, they go to a place where there is no satisfaction, the fault of which arises from relying on objects, as has been said before. Like this, the power of poison can only make the body of one lifetime uncomfortable, but cannot harm other lifetimes. Moreover, if used skillfully, it will become essence and medicine. The faults of the five objects related to desire are: when temporarily enjoyed, they appear as virtues, like tasting delicious food, but in reality they become the cause of generating all kinds of faults, and cannot be cured by secret mantras and medicine. As it is said in the "Student's Letter": Objects and poison are similar, pleasant only when first tasted. Objects and poison are similar, unbearable because of their harsh ripening. Objects and poison are similar, obscured by the darkness of ignorance. Objects and poison are similar, difficult to resist and unstable. If objects and poisons are definitely analyzed with wisdom, the faults of poison are easier to control than objects, and their nature is unbearable. Poison only turns into poison in one lifetime, while objects turn into poison in other lifetimes as well. Poison is completely pacified when mixed with poison, and can be cured with supreme secret mantras and antidote medicines. If poison is used skillfully, it will benefit people, but the great poison of objects is never like that. Also, showing the faults of those who crave objects: Just as a baby elephant is born from the mouth of a deep well, and only craves a few blades of grass, and finally falls into a cliff without achieving anything. Craving for the happy world of survival.

It is just the same. Just as a small amount of grass roots growing at the edge of a deep well is trampled by an ox's hoof, and before the grass even reaches its mouth, it falls into the abyss and dies, so too, the fault of craving worldly desires and clinging to worldly things is the same. One will not attain a good rebirth in future lives, but will fall into the great battlefield of bad rebirths. Therefore, in the 'Letter to a Friend,' it is said: 'Those who constantly waver and unite their six senses with their objects, the wise are more courageous than those who conquer those hosts of enemies on the battlefield.' This means that among those who conquer enemies on the battlefield, the wise and intelligent ones are those who first cut off the senses and conquer them, and they are said to be the greatest of heroes. Therefore, there is no greater means of deceiving the untamed, unpacified, and extremely ignorant elephant of the mind, which is interdependent with the objects of the senses, than to employ deceptive illusions. Therefore, one should enter the peaceful forest to practice meditation until the aggregates of action are carried on a bier. As it says in 'Words of Seclusion': 'As long as four men have not lifted the body, and have not placed it on the bier, until then, quickly go to seclusion and practice peaceful contemplation.' What are the benefits of going to the forest? The remote wilderness is pleasing to the mind, and sorrow increases. One is separated from commerce and agriculture, and from sinful friends. There is no need to pay taxes, and one does not suffer from the hardships of livelihood. The birds sing sweetly, and the wild animals play peacefully, without any unpleasantness. There is an abundance of clear water and fruits to enjoy. There are spacious caves in the rocks and beautiful houses made of leaves. The shade of the trees is cool, and the streams murmur pleasantly. When will I be able to dwell together with them? Here, the remote area refers to the end of the village; the wilderness monastery is at least a secluded place far from human habitation. There, for those who are weary of samsara, it is pleasing to the mind, and sorrow naturally arises. There is no conceptualization of commerce and agriculture. One cannot be deceived by sinful friends. There are no taxes. Life is naturally easy to obtain, and one does not suffer from the hardships of livelihood. The birds sing sweetly. The wild animals play leisurely, without the slightest disharmony. There are clear springs, flowers, fruits, sprouts, medicines, roots, and leaves.
