Those who abide consider that even if one is cut off, the other six remain in their own place, as it is said in the commentary on the Pratimoksha: Just as taking one side does not become taking all, similarly, abandoning one side does not become abandoning all. So it is said. In this regard, according to the first view, the sutra says: How many duties does a monk have? One hundred and one attendants. Thus, when the ritual of one hundred and one duties has disappeared, even though there is no new arising because there is no establishment of defilement, there is no cause for abandoning the existing vows, because the realization of the Dharma in its continuum cannot be diminished. As the brothers Asanga said: Merely the disappearance of the sutras does not abandon the existing vows, because the realization of the Dharma does not disappear. However, at that time there is no new birth that did not exist before, because there is no establishment of the ritual of defilement. So they said. The meaning of the latter is disparaged in the Extensive Commentary, because even if a monk has failed, he still has vows, but even so, it becomes unnecessary, because he does not abide and enjoy with those who practice pure conduct, and taking vows correctly is for liberation, but he has made liberation distant, so his vows are like nothing. Following that, one enters into the meaning of the intermediate. However, for the first type of person, if the mind does not naturally abide, and is tormented by feelings and the mind cannot be calmed, becoming dependent on others and unable to accomplish, then the four realities of the five classes do not arise as they are. If both deterioration and non-attachment are combined with transgression, it is an offense. Because it is said so. Therefore, here it is related to the meaning of the intermediate, even if abandoned in a concealed way, it can still be restored in an unconcealed way. In this regard, there are two ways of restoring: restoring by forcing with displeasure, and restoring by confessing with pleasure. The first is: threatening, cursing, expelling, sending back, these are four. Restoring, forbidding, abiding, these are two, making a total of six. Expelling the unseen from the residence, not restoring, holding wrong views, fighting, being close to the cause of fighting, being intimate with and living with nuns, completely abolishing the Dharma.

Not pacified, that is, the seven placements are combined into one, mixed with the previous six, and called the "Seven Nanda Methods," meaning to place below and subdue. That is, there is no prohibition for what the Sangha should do, and the actor has the characteristics, is not in the middle of summer, remembers what was said, should divide the offerings, and reverse from evil deeds and their causes, so that the fallen sins can be remedied. Thus, if one relies on the Nanda method to confess faults, the Sangha with characteristics should accept the acceptance of its natural abiding as it should be, and then generate joy. Those who are remedied by joyful confession are those who want to hide the fallen sins, which is the mind of concealment, and the actions of body and speech that can be determined to arise are the fallen sins of concealment, which are also included in the four causes of falling into hell. As Maitreya Lion's Roar Sutra says: "These four are like arrows shot at the arrogant, that is, being jealous of others' gains, proclaiming the faults of precepts after hearing the Vinaya and the Earth Sutra, concealing sins with arrogance even if they violate the teachings and precepts, and knowingly enjoying what is given by faith." Thus it is said. Thus, a monk who knows the difference between fallen sins and non-fallen sins and has mindfulness, if he hides the days in the abandonment practice of the Sangha, or walks with any of the four Parajikas, then the fallen sins of this life cannot be remedied, because it has become an incurable continuum. Although such a person should be expelled from the Sangha, if he is a holder of the Pitaka, then although he has no right to enjoy with the Sangha, he should be taken care of by giving dwellings and offerings, etc. If he does not accept such a request for acceptance, then from that time on, if the value of the gains of the dwelling Dharma is complete, it is said that the Sangha will suffer defeat. What should be restored here is the sin that is not concealed, only those above the Mind-Only School, after stating things to the Sangha and confessing, again give the Bhikshu precepts of the four karmas, and then give the precepts of the diminishing karma, and he should also practice inferior conduct for the rest of his life.
