Therefore, one should confess individually. The verse states: There are four categories of individual confession: Taking food from a Bhikshuni in a village and eating it; at home, a Bhikshuni divides the food and one eats it without refusing; taking food from the offering of learning vows, whether it is lawful or unlawful, and eating it; not wandering in the forest, but taking food and eating it in the monastery, these are the four. The one hundred and twelve transgressions that should be confessed are the nature of minor transgressions. From the perspective of showing the path of virtue, they are transgressions that should be corrected through confession, therefore they are transgressions that should be confessed. As the verse says: Known as the one hundred and twelve transgressions that should be confessed. The lower garment is not round, but upturned, tilted, like an elephant's trunk; the navel and the peg are like a threshold, there are seven such faults. Not round, but long and short, there are three faults of the upper garment, making ten faults related to clothing. Not wearing a belt, swaying, making loud noises, squinting, staring for a long time, wrapping the clothes too tightly, changing clothes, wearing them askew on the shoulder, crossing the hands in front of the neck, crossing them behind the head, making offerings alone, walking with the toes and heels of the feet raised, leaning on the waist with the hands, swaying the body, using a staff, rolling the eyes, touching shoulders, clasping hands, etc., these should not be done, these are twenty behaviors of walking in a householder's place. Not spreading a mat, sitting down abruptly without checking, hitting the buttocks on the ground, stretching the legs, crossing the legs, pressing the thighs, stacking the ankles, bending the legs under the bed, raising the feet, etc., these should be avoided, there are nine ways of sitting. Not receiving properly, but receiving face to face, not receiving in order, looking at the bowl with the corner of the eye, using the bowl to block the food that came earlier, receiving on top of other containers, these should be avoided, there are eight ways of taking food. Eating improperly, the needle is too big or too small, or not suitable. Speaking with the mouth open while eating, making clicking sounds, making sounds like "tsak tsak", "hu hu", "pu pu", sticking out the tongue to eat. Separating the grain from the chaff, criticizing the faults of the food, swallowing in one gulp, carrying food, cutting off the leftovers of food, licking the hands, bending the body, shaking the hands, swaying the body, making actions like a stupa, these twenty-one should be avoided when eating. Disparaging the bowl, looking back, the hands should not touch the containers and water that are contaminated with food, do not pour out water. Pouring out dirty water without asking, leaving leftover food. Do not place it on bare ground, do not place it on a sloping hillside, do not place it on four steps. Do not wash things in a garbage dump or on a cliff, do not wash things in a sloping place. Do not wash things standing up or in rushing water, there are fourteen such faults. When teaching the Dharma, standing, lying down, sitting naked. Speaking behind the person walking in front, on the side of the road. Covering the head, wearing clothes backwards, tilting the body, crossing the hands in front of the neck and behind the head. Wearing amulets, wearing a hat, wearing hair ornaments. Wearing rosaries and head ornaments.
