That which should be guarded. The Victorious One said that, in short, it is discipline. Thus, in addition to knowing what is permitted and prohibited, the way to learn is: Especially, the place of learning is at the time of individual liberation. One should not abandon the precepts made for the sake of others. If a Bodhisattva transforms for the benefit of others, The seven non-virtues of body and speech, Knowing that they transform and will transform for the benefit of others, And not hindering the increase of one's own accumulation of merit, There are times when permission is granted after examining three situations. For example, the black man with great mental strength and a short spear, And the Brahmin boy, the star, are examples. The fault in appearance is actually good in meaning. Because it is done with the intention of having the power of cause and effect, There is no need to worry about the three of mind. Among them, the vows of individual liberation, Even if it is for the benefit of others, it is not allowed to abandon the precepts that have been made. A Bodhisattva transforms for the benefit of others, and knows that he will transform, and does not interrupt his own virtue, and increases it with the power of mental attraction. There are times when permission is granted after examining three situations. In the teaching of the ten paths of virtuous actions, it says: Those who have no regard for their own benefit, Whose actions only desire to benefit others, and who are always full of compassion, Except for the three evil deeds of mind or wrong views, it seems that general permission is given. For this, one should consult the treatises that establish the Bodhisattva vows. It is said. The intention of these two is only to examine the root of the initial arising with sharp wisdom. Its nature must be connected with the constant intention to benefit others, so it arises from the path of mental action, and it can also be summarized that there are times when permission is granted for these two. Some people infer from this that, for example, when Manjushri (འཇམ་དཔལ།) lost faith and entered the heretical path, it is unreasonable to say that there is no downfall, etc. Because the precepts that have been made follow the eyes and ears, showing that wrong views arise from the gates of body and speech, However, the precepts that have not been made are from the knowledge of the mind, entering into the skillful means of taming them, And because there are no wrong views, it is said that the virtues of the Three Jewels are praised in between.

It should be understood that looking at anything that is produced by a bad motivation and is of all kinds is not allowed. How should the actions of body and speech be allowed? Like this, based on grasping the cause and effect of both the actor and the experiencer with great compassion, like taking the life of an executioner in order to save many lives. For example, knowing that the black dwarfs are going to take the lives of five hundred merchants, the captain, with great compassion, generates the mind to liberate the sinful one from the ripening of karma and to free the merchants from the fear of death, and thus kills the black dwarfs; or although wealthy, is stingy and does not give, generating the mind for the benefit of both those who are starving to death, stealing from the rich and giving to the poor; or the Brahmin boy who likes the stars, practicing pure conduct in the forest for eighty-two thousand years, finally goes to the city to beg for alms, becomes attached to the merchant's daughter, and tormented by desire, intends to die immediately, and in order to prevent this, abandons pure conduct, and thus is reborn in the Brahma world; or in order to free someone who is certain to be killed from the danger of life, giving a signal and telling a lie, like a human lord performing a sacrifice; or in order to prevent being completely deceived by evil friends and led into the lower realms, separating them with divisive speech; or in order to free those who are oppressed by sorrow from distraction or seeing the necessity of entering the Dharma, telling stories and jokes, which are false speech; or in order to prevent entering into sinful actions, rebuking with harsh words, these, although in form are not virtuous, are actually virtuous, and therefore are allowed. In 'Cleansing the Obscurations of the Mind' it says: 'The Bhikshu urged his own old father, saying he wanted to be quick, even if he died as a result, it is not an immediate crime.' It also says: 'Therefore, at the root of thought, there exists merit and sin.' In the 'Four Hundred' it says: 'The Bodhisattva's motivation, whether virtuous or non-virtuous, all becomes virtuous, because the mind is the main thing.' In the 'Twenty Verses' it also says: 'Because of having compassion and love, a virtuous mind has no fault.' Therefore, what is prohibited in the Vinaya Pitaka of the Lesser Vehicle,
