If one abandons with the uninterrupted path of samadhi like a vajra, then at the second moment of the ground, having perfected with the path of liberation, the Buddha goes to the sole realm of Dharma, and possesses qualities such as always being in equanimity. Such a noble path has five special dharmas: the two of antidote, the abandoned, the meritorious, and the first of holding the body. The two of antidote are in relation to abandoning the impurities of the nine grounds. The antidote of abandonment is the path of joining and the uninterrupted path. The antidote of support is the path of liberation. The antidote of distance is the path of distinction. Moreover, the self-continuum that precedes the ground is the abandonment or obstacle of the actual ground, which is the path of joining. Since that ground is actually being born for the first time, the seed of that impurity is actually abandoned, which is the uninterrupted path. The actual basis of the two moments of that ground is the path of liberation. After that ground, having obtained special qualities and proceeding to the higher ground, is the path of distinction. The distinction of abandonment is that the essence of what is to be abandoned by seeing, all innate afflictive obscurations are abandoned. The essence of what is to be abandoned by meditation, the gross aspects of the knowable obscurations are abandoned. One is entering into abandoning the subtle. If divided, there are four types: From the perspective of essence: desire, anger, pride, ignorance, view of the aggregates as a real self, extreme views, these are six. If divided from the perspective of realms, on top of the six of the desire realm, in the two upper realms, five each other than anger, totaling ten, combined with the previous six, there are sixteen. If divided from the perspective of grounds, in the desire realm there are six. In each of the four concentrations there are five each. In each of the four formless realms there are five each, totaling forty-six. If divided from the perspective of grounds and large and medium, in the desire realm, the four concentrations, and the four formless realms, in the nine grounds, just as desire has nine large, medium, and small, similarly, pride, ignorance, view of the aggregates as a real self, and extreme views, each divided into nine each, five groups of eighty-one each, totaling four hundred and five, on top of that, adding the nine large, medium, and small of anger that only exists in the desire realm, there are four hundred and fourteen, these with the path of joining and the uninterrupted path, and

Liberation and the special path are abandoned separately through four methods. The difference in qualities is that the twelve hundredfold qualities of the first ground manifest a thousandfold in each moment on the second ground. Thus, the third ground is a hundred thousandfold, the fourth ground is a koti-koti fold, the fifth ground is a koti-koti thousandfold, the sixth ground is a koti-koti hundred thousandfold, the seventh ground is a billion koti-koti hundred thousandfold, the eighth ground is the number of extremely fine particles of ten trillion three-thousandfold great thousand worlds, the ninth ground is the number of fine particles of ten trillion countless Buddha-fields, and the tenth ground manifests qualities equal to the number of unspeakable billion koti-koti hundred trillion fine particles of Buddha-fields. In all the pores, Buddha-fields are clearly manifested, and twelve deeds, etc., are shown simultaneously for the benefit of sentient beings. Such qualities are also newly seen from the power of removing obscurations above the realm, or the difference contrary to that seems to arise from the view that the Tathagatagarbha is of two kinds, definitive and provisional. Here, for the time being, Acharya Chandrakirti explained the Tathagatagarbha as definitive, and if the intention of the Uttaratantra is also turned to the view that emptiness is the intention and the purpose is to abandon the five faults, then it is comfortable for those who analyze with sharp wisdom related to the eight consciousness aggregates and who assert the doctrine of accepting the words of the irreversible wheel of Dharma as definitive. Thus, its intention is the very nature of reality, free from elaboration, and the necessity is in the Uttaratantra: "Discouragement, contempt for inferior beings, not holding the right view, slandering the right Dharma, and excessive attachment to self—these five faults are taught to be abandoned." Eliminating these five faults, and in order to correct the attachment to self, the words expressed by the sound of abiding with a permanent, stable, and enduring body adorned with thirty-two marks in the continuum of beings are to avoid confusing with the self of the Tirthikas. As stated in the Nirvana Sutra: Therefore, all sentient beings in the future will have unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, therefore they have the Buddha-nature.
