The conceptualization of 'mine' is the obscuration of knowledge. Among these, the afflictive obscurations, all those that are conceptually imputed, are abandoned by the path of seeing, while those that are innate are abandoned by the path of meditation. Furthermore, the coarse conceptualizations of grasping and clinging, which are obscurations of knowledge, are abandoned by the path of seeing, while the subtle ones are abandoned by the path of meditation. The categories are: generally speaking, all conceptually imputed things that become obstacles to the path of seeing. Regarding this, there are two aspects: classification and the method of abandonment. The first is divided into two: classification from the perspective of essence, and classification from the perspective of the way of wrongly engaging. The first is: desire, anger, pride, ignorance, and doubt, these five. The second is: the view of the aggregates as a self, the view of holding to extremes, wrong view, the view of holding views as supreme, and the view of holding moral discipline and asceticism as supreme, these five, totaling ten. Thus, when the five views enter into the truth of suffering, etc., of the desire realm, they accord with the five non-views, each having ten, so there are forty. On top of that, in the four truths of the two upper realms, the nine excluding anger each enter, so in the four truths of the meditative realm there are thirty-six, and in the four truths of the formless realm there are thirty-six, totaling one hundred and twelve abandoned by seeing, from the perspective of the object, realm, and way of wrongly engaging. In the Compendium of Topics it says: "One hundred and twelve afflictions are the types of afflictions to be abandoned by seeing." The second, the method of abandonment, is: through the stages of application, the seeds of what is to be abandoned by seeing are abandoned in the manner of suppressing them, while through the patience of knowing the Dharma, etc., they are abandoned in the manner of eradicating them from the root. That is, in relation to each moment of the four truths and what is to be abandoned by them, one becomes an antidote to defilements in stages. In relation to the arising of wisdom, the two paths of the uninterrupted path and the liberation path are not seen when Dharma-patience arises, so it is called the path of seeing. As it says in the Sutra of the Ten Bhumis: "When a Bodhisattva abides in Suchness, at that time he enters the first bhumi, and then gradually purifies the higher ones and enters the bhumi of the Thus-Gone One." At that time, having realized the distinction of the all-pervasive Dharmadhatu in oneself and others, with the supreme Bodhicitta of equality of self and others, one benefits others like oneself.

Because it also includes meaning, the perfection of generosity itself is the majority. The characteristics of its merits are that it has one hundred and twelve merits that can be shown in an instant, as well as the Buddha eye, clairvoyance, and immeasurable magical powers. That is, from seeing the faces of one hundred Buddhas in an instant to being able to hold the rebirth of the king of Jambudvipa, as stated in the sixth chapter. Then, on the path of meditation of the noble ones: At the end of the ten bhumis' continuum, with the vajra-like samadhi, one destroys the obscurations to knowledge and manifests enlightenment. The remaining ones are the nature of the path of meditation. The support of the body, for the beings of the three realms, is not certain whether it is male or female, and together with the gods of the desire and form realms, there are many rebirths. The Ornament of the Sutras says, "Taking rebirth according to one's thought." Therefore, it is also possible to be reborn for other beings. The support of the mind is the fourth dhyana. The cause is the three paths of accumulation, preparation, and seeing of the Great Vehicle. The result is the path of no more learning. The characteristic is that from cutting off upwards from the second bhumi to cutting off at the end of the ten bhumis' continuum, the term "path of meditation of the Great Vehicle" can be established. It arises after the completion of the path of seeing of the Great Vehicle, and is gathered by the virtue of one's own path, becoming the cause for the arising of the first moment of the path of no more learning of the Great Vehicle. The definition is whatever is gathered by the virtue belonging to the wheel of the nature of the ten bhumis. The division is that the path of meditation is divided into three: small, medium, and large, and each of these is divided into three, so there are nine in total. Among these, the smallest of the small is the second bhumi, the stainless bhumi, which, compared to the state of the first bhumi, is anything that cannot abide in mindfulness with respect to subtle errors of falling, and compared to the second bhumi, has the difference of having complete branches that can abide in mindfulness. That bhumi does not employ all subtle errors of falling, or is naturally pure, therefore the perfection of ethics is the majority, and because it does not have all the stains of broken vows, the name "stainless" is established. The Ornament says, "Because it is free from the stain of striving for broken vows, it is called the stainless bhumi." Thus. The medium of the small is the third bhumi, the illuminating bhumi, in the state of the second bhumi, one is able to equally enter all worldly samadhis.
