Having distinguished the correct meaning with the wisdom of hearing, one generates the wisdom of meditation in order to make it manifest. Merely hearing and so on will not make the meaning manifest. Thus it was taught. Therein, the wisdom of self-nature is to hold the manifest path, which is the meaning of all phenomena being without self-nature, as the wisdom of meditation. In the 'Noble Collection Sutra', it says: 'Those who fully know that all phenomena are without self-nature, are practicing the supreme perfection of wisdom.' Thus it is. Therefore, the wisdom of meditation is seeing the selflessness of phenomena, and naturally abiding in the meaning of selflessness, thereby seeing the wisdom of no appearance. Although one cannot meditate on this with the mind of conceptualizing existence and non-existence, the term meditation is applied to whatever closely places mindfulness on the sphere of wisdom that is primordially and naturally utterly liberated. In the 'Noble Two Truths Sutra', it says: 'Although it is utterly without substance in the ultimate, it is also meditated upon as the path in the conventional.' Thus it says. And in the 'Samadhiraja Sutra', it says: 'You should lovingly understand.' Thus it was taught, therefore, abiding in equipoise is the same as the wisdom of meditation. The Blessed One also taught that in this way one will touch the way of abiding in its nature: 'Through abiding in equipoise, one knows things as they truly are.' In order to ascertain its self-nature as manifest, the sky, the realm of perfect purity, is of one taste with the meaning of meditation. Therein, the five aggregates such as form, and all eight collections of consciousness do not exist. Thus, the sky is ungraspable, unshowable, non-corporeal, without beginning or middle, similarly, the mind is unfindable when sought, beyond objects, invisible in the beginning, middle, and end, separate from the five aggregates such as form, and transcends the eight collections of consciousness because it is unconditioned. In the 'Mother Sutra', it says: 'Meditating on the Perfection of Wisdom is meditating on the sky; in the sky there is no form, no feeling, no perception, no formation, no consciousness.' And so on, up to 'there is no Buddha.' Thus it was taught. And the 'Collection Sutra'

Furthermore, forms are not seen, nor are feelings seen; perception is unseen, and mind is unseen. Where consciousness, mind, and intellect are all unseen, the Tathagata declares this to be the seeing of Dharma. Thus it is. Although stating the vow to prevent the arising of the four extremes is the assertion of the Prasangika Madhyamikas, if one blocks with conceptual thought, saying "non-existent," it is especially contradictory to wisdom itself. It is not utter annihilation, but the treasury of all bodies and wisdom. As it is said, like this, after blocking the extreme of existence, it is impossible to suddenly meditate on non-existence, because from the beginning it is naturally completely pure, therefore it is empty of the aggregates and is not permanent because it is destroyed in an instant. Because it does not abide in an object, it is signless. Because it arises and diminishes in an instant, it is wishless, abiding in the three doors of liberation is the source or basis of the bodies and great wisdom of the Tathagatas. Mipham Gonpo said: "There is nothing to be removed here, and there is nothing to be placed." Having thus established the manner of the basis, "Look at reality as it is, and seeing reality, one is liberated." Thus, the wisdom of individual discernment transcends the realm of the minds of ordinary beings, and therefore, realization is established as the view of Madhyamaka. As it is also said in the Ratnakuta Sutra: "Subhuti, if the mind is sought everywhere, it cannot be found. Whatever cannot be found is unobservable." Thus it is. For that reason, in the naturally pure, look at reality as it is. "Looking" is also conventional truth. Not moving from its own state is the best of meditation. Before that, all thoughts and mental activities do not abide. Among these, naturally completely pure is that which is not defiled by artificial rituals. Although it does not contemplate other objects by its very nature, it is not like a blind person who does not have the conditions, nor is it like sleeping upside down. It is also superior to the absorption of non-perception, so in all activities, it abides in the yoga of suchness, and desires to be in accordance with the meaning of selflessness. Thus, if one examines well with wisdom, then the path of seeing of true wisdom is the non-seeing of all dharmas, as it is said in the Intermediate Mother Sutra: "Seeing is the meaning of not seeing anything." And seeing in ultimate truth
