Whatever thoughts arise within oneself are improper actions. This statement refers to the acceptance of tenets in accordance with the practices of well-known worldly schools. It merely asserts that conventional truth and ultimate truth are identical in essence, appearing alike when they appear and not appearing alike when they do not appear. Briefly, in the classification of philosophical tenets: The system of the Hearer school, which posits indivisible atoms, involves examining the ultimate truth of knowledge with the intellect and destroying the ultimate truth of objects with force. This school is divided into the Vaibhashika and Sautrantika schools. Firstly, the characteristic of a person who propounds the tenets of the Lesser Vehicle, not even accepting the term "self-awareness," is that of a Vaibhashika. In this context, concerning the basis, path, and result: The fundamental dharma, when examined with the intellect regarding the ultimate truth of knowledge, and when destroyed by force regarding the ultimate truth of objects, cannot be harmed. This is because the continuum of knowledge and gross objects are conventional truths, while momentary consciousness and indivisible atoms of matter are considered ultimate truths. Vasubandhu said: Whatever is destroyed or analyzed by the intellect, if removed, the intellect does not accept it; like a pot and water, it exists conventionally, but the ultimate existence is different. Thus, according to the Vaibhashika school of the Hearers, any dharma that can be abandoned in terms of clinging to it, whether by destroying it with force or analyzing it with the intellect, is a conventional truth. For example, when any form of an object exists without its form being diminished, the thought arises, "It is that." However, when it is destroyed by a hammer or pestle, because the form of analysis does not exist, the clinging to it and the gross thought also cease. This is what is observed. Ultimate truth is that those dharmas for which clinging cannot be abandoned, even when the most subtle particles are destroyed by force or analyzed and removed by the intellect, are considered ultimately existent entities. Examples include indivisible atoms, indivisible moments of consciousness, and unconditioned dharmas. Furthermore, conventional truth and imputation are synonymous, while ultimate truth and substantial existence are synonymous. In general, this school well refutes the self of a person claimed by outsiders as permanent and independent, and it pledges to selflessness. Moreover, understanding its view is merely a stepping stone to better understanding the view of the Sautrantika school. Other than that, the sky and permanence are two existences.

Na (Sanskrit: na, Romanization: na, Literal meaning: no). They accept co-emergent cause and effect and the cause and effect of having five similarities, etc. They consider the three times to be substantially existent and things, so they never change to non-existence, etc., which is very coarse. The Kashmir Vaibhashikas are similar to the Sautrantikas, but the difference is that they admit the continuum of karma as the basis for the connection of karma. Regarding the classification of the path, they only classify the five paths by focusing on the sixteen aspects of the four noble truths, such as impermanence, etc., but do not accept the classification of the ten bhumis, etc. What is to be abandoned by these paths are the afflictive obscurations and the two types of ignorance that are the opposite of them. By abandoning the former, one attains the state of an Arhat, which is inferior, and by abandoning the latter, that is, non-afflictive ignorance,
