It is said for the sake of combining. The second is the limb of offering: the actual wealth that completes the limb of generosity, and also, it symbolizes the incomparable mental creation. Not the supreme cloud of offerings, envying the merits of Samantabhadra. Regarding this, the actual arrangement of the supreme offering is the reason just mentioned, and without relying on that, the offering that is completely unattached, belonging to the medicine mountain, the shape of jewels, pure and pleasing clean water, land that produces gold, silver, and other treasures, secluded and pleasant pastures, comfortable and pleasing bird perches, stacked rock houses, herb lands, forests, trees with and without thorns, lotus flowers that grow in water, utpala flowers that grow on plains, udumbara flowers that appear in season, mandara flowers that are only found in the heavens, soma flowers, champaka flowers, naga flower stamens, and other flower gardens, the pleasing sound of flowing water, fruit trees with flowers and fruits hanging down and lush foliage, agarwood, red and white sandalwood, six excellent fragrances, camphor, styrax, mountain deer and birds, and other animals that are beautiful to look at and have pleasant voices, lakes, ponds, lotuses, and uncultivated crops, wish-fulfilling trees, in short, everything that exists within the complete sphere of the four continents, like the unpleasant enjoyments of the north, possessed through contention, everything that is not clung to, is made the object of one's own mind, because of poverty, the difference in intention is most important, not relying on actual wealth. As it is said in the "Bodhicharyavatara": I am without merit, extremely poor, I have no other wealth to offer, For the sake of benefiting others, I beseech the honorable ones, Accept this offering of mine with compassion. Thus it is said. Born from the mind are flower garlands intertwined and beautifully arranged, incense sticks blended in equal proportions, jewel lamps placed on golden lotuses, wish-fulfilling jewels, and things that illuminate and shine such as the sun and moon, and blended fine fragrances.

Placing slow-moving creatures in containers, and offerings such as rice, white sugar, and other foods, pleasing drinks, grape juice, the beautiful sounds of musical instruments such as large drums, and furthermore, all the ground is well leveled and swept clean, anointed with fragrant perfumes, and alternately strewn with various kinds of flowers, and immeasurable palaces with jeweled nets and turrets, their wide surroundings adorned with bathing pools decorated with palm trees, many gods and goddesses singing and dancing, the palace adorned with strings of pearls and jewels, and precious umbrellas, victory banners, flags, and canopies, etc., which are luminous and have the nature of manifestation, and good vases completely possessed by the owner, wish-fulfilling trees, wish-fulfilling cows, the seven royal emblems, the seven precious possessions nearby, the eight auspicious symbols, and also soft, smooth, and comfortable to the touch objects, necklaces, armlets, semodo, earrings, neck ornaments, horses, elephants, chariots, various kinds of clothes, special objects of enjoyment, and the endless things that adorn and are possessed by one's own and others' bodies. The supreme samadhi offering. From the Sutra of the Heap of Jewels and Palm Trees: Most flowers are flower banners, the arrangement of flowers radiates light, various flowers are scattered everywhere, I offer to the great sage and the sons of the Buddhas. Just as having countless treasures in the palm of one's hand, offering to one Buddha, so too to all Buddhas, such is the miraculous transformation of the ascetic samadhi. Just as the Brahmin known as Nampar Drak treats the unobstructed prophecy of the complete and perfect Buddha with great respect. This is because there is nothing above the clouds of offerings emanated from the samadhi of the Bodhisattva Samantabhadra, so merely offering something to rival it is called "shouldering a heavy burden." On the other hand, the supreme offering is this, namely, the treasury of space...
