In the palace called 'Yes,' Noble Wealth (Norzang) saw countless Bodhisattvas teaching the Dharma and prostrated from five hundred yojanas away. Seeing this, (the Buddha) extended his right hand and placed it on Noble Wealth's head, praising him, and one should contemplate the nearly three hundred and fifty benefits explained with examples. Similarly, one should also study the teachings of the noble Inexhaustible Intelligence, the questions of the son of Brahma, the Saṃdhinirmocana Sūtra, the Laṅkāvatāra Sūtra, the Gayośīrṣa Sūtra, the Ratnamegha Sūtra, the Daśabhūmika Sūtra, the Vimalakīrti Nirdeśa Sūtra, the chapter on transcendence, the Nirvāṇa Sūtra, the Faith Cultivation Sūtra, the Ajātaśatru's Repentance Sūtra, the Two Truths Sūtra, the Ratnakūṭa Sūtra, the Candrapradīpa Sūtra, and other Mahāyāna scriptures. In short, considering the benefits of aspiration and the benefits of engagement, firstly, as stated in the noble 'Holding All Virtuous Roots': 'The accumulation of merit from the initial arising of the mind of Śāradvatī's son is not insignificant or trivial. It is such that even after a hundred kalpas, a thousand kalpas, or a hundred thousand kalpas, it cannot be fully expressed. How could Bodhisattvas know the measure of the merit of generating the mind of enlightenment?' And as stated in the Aṣṭasāhasrikā Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra: 'If someone accumulates virtuous roots for as many kalpas as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River, and another person generates the mind of enlightenment for a single day, half a day, or the time it takes to snap one's fingers, the latter's merit is greater.' Therefore, even without the ability to practice the mind of enlightenment, one can attain great results within samsara. In the liberation of Maitreya, the Bhagavan taught: 'For example, even if a diamond jewel is broken, it still surpasses all other excellent gold ornaments.' This example is related to what was mentioned earlier. After careful analysis, the mere ritual of generating the mind of enlightenment benefits limitless beings. If someone directly denies this, it can be inferred that it is the work of a demon. Similarly, in the Ten Dharmas Sūtra, the four causes for generating the mind of enlightenment are explained, the first of which is being encouraged and protected by the Tathāgata, Śrāvakas, and others.

and caused them to be held. Secondly, holding it after hearing the praise of the Bodhi-mind. Thirdly, seeing sentient beings without protectors, without refuge, and without support, generating the thought of compassion and generating the mind. Fourthly, seeing all the perfect aspects of the Thus-Gone One, generating joy and generating the mind. Among these, it is only the generation of the mind out of great compassion, being overwhelmed for the benefit of sentient beings, that is particularly great. This was taught from the Samadhi of the Wisdom Mudra of the Blessed Thus-Gone One. Similarly, the benefit of entering is that the Buddha's body, wisdom, qualities, and all activities are accomplished solely through accomplishing the benefit of others. Know what the cause was by which the Buddhas of the past obtained the prediction of perfect enlightenment. Thus spoke the noble Lord Nagarjuna: The perfection of accomplishing the benefit of others is considered the chief of fruits. Pleasing the Buddha and so on are other than that; it is considered that those arise incidentally. As it was said. From the "Treasury of Qualities, Rain of Joy," the complete holding of the Bodhi-mind, that is, the commentary on the eighth chapter. Finished. Holding the Bodhi-mind completely, that is, the commentary on the eighth chapter.
