Regarding its lifespan, the *Smṛtyupasthāna Sūtra* says: Sentient beings in the Hell of Resurrection can endure hundreds of billions of human years, plus sixty thousand years, and two thousand years. Also, in a chapter of the *Smṛtyupasthāna Sūtra*, it says: Whoever kills a person, or creates and then kills, those people will surely go to the Hell of Resurrection. Because there, for many thousands of years, they are bound and bound again, and resurrected, therefore it is called Resurrection. Thus it is said. The Black Line Hell is tormented by the wheel of cutting, where the perpetrators are placed in various shaped gaps, lines are drawn on the body, and they are split and dug like wood. 老鼠、野兽、猪。此外，产生后杀害，众生聚集毁灭将前往。因为聚集后在那里抛弃，真实杀害的缘故，因为那个缘故是聚集毁灭，这样名称与意义相符。如是说。呜呼叫唤是，铁水沸腾中煎熬，具有猛烈哀号，在那里寻找住处者被放入铁屋中，进入后被猛烈火焰折磨。寿命能达到两百万亿年，以及九十四万亿年，还有一千七百万亿年。从前文说，在此哪些众生，身语意烦恼，哪些掺杂欺骗他人，那些人将前往呜呼叫唤。在那里被猛烈的火焰，持续不断焚烧，因为发出猛烈声音的缘故，因此那些是呜呼叫唤。如是说。大呜呼叫唤是，铁的房屋框架在燃烧中被火焚烧。寿命是三百万亿年，以及五十五万亿二千零六十六年。从前文说，谁抢夺天和婆罗门，以及上师的财物而造成痛苦，哪些抢夺被封闭之物，那些将前往大呜呼叫唤。因为火焰焚烧猛烈，呜呼叫唤也大，因为沉重而大的缘故，那是大呜呼叫唤。如是说。热是，燃烧的铁刺穿身体中脉，使脑髓流出，从感官之门和所有毛孔中生出火焰。又在极度燃烧的锅中焚烧，在从各处燃烧的铁基上用铁锤烧红后捶打。寿命是八百万亿年，以及四十万，和六千五百三十万亿年之间。极热是，用三尖矛从背后刺入，中间的尖端使脑髓流出，剩余的两个尖端从两个肩胛骨突出，又用燃烧的铁片缠绕整个身体，在到处燃烧的铁铜中，将头朝下浸入沸腾的开水中，使皮肤和血肉脱落，只剩下白色的骨头或骨架的身体。

The wailing is, being tormented in boiling molten iron, possessing fierce cries, those seeking dwelling there are made to enter an iron house, and having entered, they suffer from fierce flames. The lifespan can reach two million trillion years, and ninety-four trillion years, and also one thousand seven hundred trillion years. From the previous text, here which sentient beings, create afflictions of body, speech, and mind, which mix and deceive others, those people will go to the wailing. There, by fierce fires, constantly burned, because of emitting fierce sounds, therefore those are the wailing. Thus it is said. The great wailing is, the iron house frame is burned by fire in flames. The lifespan is three million trillion years, and fifty-five trillion five hundred twenty thousand and sixty-six years. From the previous text, whoever steals the property of gods and Brahmins, and gurus, and causes suffering, those who steal what is sealed, those will go to the great wailing. Because the fire burns fiercely, and the wailing is also great, because of being heavy and large, that is the great wailing. Thus it is said. Hot is, the burning iron skewer pierces the central channel of the body, causing the brain marrow to flow out, and fire arises from all the sense gates and pores. Also, being burned in an extremely burning pan, and being cooled on an iron base burning from all sides, and then beaten with a burning iron hammer. The lifespan is between eight million trillion years, and four hundred thousand, and sixty-five hundred thirty trillion years.
