are the four. Correct concentration is the four dhyanas. Correct speech is the four paths of virtuous action. Correct action is the three natures of abandoning the paths of non-virtuous action of the body. Correct thought is, without harmful intent and many virtuous thoughts. Thus, seeing these four noble truths, in order to be connected with obtaining nirvana, it is not necessarily the status of a householder. As mentioned earlier: Therefore, in order to obtain the four noble truths, one should always strive diligently. Householders who have wealth in their arms can also cross the river of afflictions through wisdom. Thus, those who live in the royal position, such as the embodied heart, also crossed the river of afflictions by knowing the four noble truths. Therefore, this noble path is accomplished by the effort of a great man. It is not that knowledge that is completely accomplished from the beginning fell from the sky. Nor did it grow out of the ground like grain. Therefore, even if it is an ordinary person, one should rely on a virtuous friend, work hard, and not be afraid to cross the river of afflictions. This is what the noble Nagarjuna taught. It is said: Those who manifest the Dharma are not like grain falling from the sky, nor are they growing out of the ground, they were previously ordinary people who relied on afflictions. It is said. However, those who do not have mindfulness close at hand will perceive suffering as happiness, impermanence as permanence, non-self as self, and impurity as purity, and view them with four inverted thoughts, thus creating the cause of falling into evil destinies and samsara. As mentioned earlier: Those who do not have mindfulness close at hand will view them with four inverted thoughts, which is the root of destruction. If there is no self to be viewed in this way, then who will bear the fruits of good and bad karma? Its nature is me, the nature of form, etc., so it should be blocked. The Letter to a Friend says: Form is not me, as it is said, I am not connected with form, I do not dwell in form, form does not dwell in me, thus, the remaining four aggregates should also be realized as emptiness. It is said. I am not the nature of form, etc.

It is not self, because like form and so on, it will only become impermanent. If it is said to be something different from form and so on, then it should be examined from three aspects: Is it possessing form and so on like possessing a guardian buffalo? Is it dwelling on top of form and so on, like a guardian sitting on the grass? Or is it like vines and kudzu vines relying on the earth, with form and so on relying on it? Discussing this: What power do I have over form and so on? Just like driving a herd of guardian buffaloes and controlling milking, it cannot abandon or accept form and so on according to its own will. Even unwillingly, one will see the decay of form and so on, therefore I do not possess form. The meaning of the second case: How can it be said that it dwells on form and so on? For non-material dharmas, it is unreasonable to dwell above and below like a guardian sitting on the grass. Because, those who manifest dwelling, even the self dwelling above cannot bring any benefit to form and so on, and form and so on cannot bring benefit to it either. Furthermore, is this riding on top and entering into it, like riding on an elephant and being like an elephant? This is also unreasonable, because even unwillingly, one will see entering and leaving. I cannot enter and leave form and so on according to my own will. The reason for the third case is: Vines and so on rely on the earth, and relying on it, one can see form and so on arising, abiding, and growing. The non-arising of form and so on does not depend on me in that way, because even when I do not exist, external form and so on naturally exist. According to some people's views, like grass and other living things, salt and so on are uncertain. Thus, destroying the twenty kinds of views of the aggregates, this is the key point of the instruction, therefore it is established here according to the Han Chinese treatises. Therefore, form is not me, I do not possess form, I do not dwell on form, and form does not dwell on me.
