The six ways to become wise, the five aggregates, the six elements, the twelve sources, the twelve links of dependent origination, what is and is not the place, the six faculties, and the faculties that transcend them are: non-material things separated from the mind, namely: faith, diligence, mindfulness, concentration, and wisdom. The faculties of ordinary beings are material eyes and so on. Furthermore, the definitions of the names of the nine objects of the Buddha's teachings, etc., are not explained in detail for fear of large gatherings of treatises, but they are the great bonds of all systems of samsara and nirvana, so they must be understood from the oral instruction treatise Wish-Fulfilling Jewel. Here, I will briefly explain the dharmas that are naturally present and absent in the three realms. Hunger and thirst are not present in the two upper realms (the form realm and the formless realm), only in the desire realm. In the three continents (referring to Jambudvipa, Purvavideha, and Aparagodaniya) there are many kinds of food, but in Uttarakuru there are only two kinds of food: uncultivated rice and trees that grow naturally. Because there is no possessiveness, even if children are abandoned by their mothers immediately after birth, they can survive on the milk that flows from their own thumbs. The six desire gods enjoy the nectar of five colors, and above that there is no food of the realm. Above the Four Great Kings, there is no excretion, because their bodies are neither hollow nor have internal organs, and after eating the food of the realm, it is digested immediately like pouring water on sand. In the three continents, there are good and bad years, large and small rains, happiness and fear, trade, specially built houses, heavy cotton, wool, silk, and woolen clothes, clothes of all colors, cold and heat, marriage, rulers and subjects, and attachment to grain, wealth, and relatives. But in Uttarakuru and the gods of the form realm, most of these are absent, only occasional fear and suffering, and non-specially built houses. In the place of the desire gods, there are four colors, and if the sounds and shapes are unpleasant, there is only white. Uttarakuru and the desire gods have thin, soft, and light clothes made from the wish-fulfilling tree. Among them, the clothes of Uttarakuru weigh one srang, the clothes of the Four Great Kings weigh half a srang, and so do the clothes of the Thirty-Three Gods.

One-fourth. Cessation of strife has eight parts. Tushita has sixteen parts. Nirmāṇarati has thirty-two parts. Paranirmitavasavarti has sixty-four parts. Above the Form Realm, they are born wearing immeasurable garments, and there are four colors. Green is not counted as one of them. In the six desire realms, there are marriage exchanges and rulers and subjects. In the Form Realm, there are also rulers and subjects. In the two upper realms, there are no parents or males and females, but the lower ones have them. In the Realm of Non-Perception, there is grain but no wealth. In the six desire realms, there is wealth but no grain. Below the Form Realm, there is neither grain nor wealth. The other three types of birth also have a coarse basis for birth, so there is a corpse at the time of death. Those born by transformation disappear at the same time as the consciousness ceases. The gods do not have the suffering of expounding the Dharma, but they do have the suffering of death and falling. Humans have the suffering of death, transformation, expounding the Dharma, and fear of the place of rebirth in the future, as well as the suffering of the aggregation of skandhas. Only hell beings consider death to be happiness. Walking and seeing are also from the upper to the lower. Other than that, one can only travel to and see the upper realms by obtaining one's own magical powers or being led by the gods of the upper realms, but otherwise it is not possible. That is also when the Form Realm and others come to Jambudvipa, the body does not move from its original place. They come relying on emanations and the appearance that corresponds to the mind of previous learning. Those below Paranirmitavasavarti come with their real bodies because the desire realm is the same. What is the reason? Because of the appearance of the mind and the aggregation of wind and mind. Because the realms and places are different and the places are not the same, the lower cannot see the upper. That is also because there are no sun or moon up to the Realm of Non-Perception, so the days and nights of the desire realm gods are the opening and closing of flowers, the singing and not singing of birds, the desire to sleep, and awakening. Because each body has light, there is never a time when they are in darkness. The people of the Realm of Non-Perception are born there because they have accumulated the karma of definitely being born in the Thirty-Three Heavens. Other beings such as gods and humans are not certain where they will be born because of the variety of karma. Thus, all the phenomena of samsara can be summarized into three: the end of form is the subtle dust.
