Just as from the collection of meanings of the earth, it completely shows the entire process of a person from initially generating Bodhicitta to ultimately attaining Buddhahood, it is the same for all other meanings to be expressed. When it is established in this way, it also naturally exists as separate, unmixed letters, just as each strand of wool exists separately when the rope is in its natural state. Similarly, it is like a yak tail and tender grass. Therefore, all phenomena of appearance and existence, samsara and nirvana, are from the mind, thoughts, and conceptualizations. When they are assumed and expressed through the collection of names, words, and letters, names and meanings are unrelated, just like separate letters. Letters also arise from the thoughts of discriminating wisdom that separately gather in the sound and the meaning of the sound. Therefore, if one carefully examines the nature of the thought itself, one will find that it is indeterminate and exists in the nature of space. Therefore, one will come to know that all phenomena appear but are without inherent existence. The abiding kalpa has been explained. Third, the twenty intermediate kalpas of destruction are: nineteen intermediate kalpas for the destruction of sentient beings, and one intermediate kalpa for the destruction of the container world. Among these, the beginning of the destruction of sentient beings starts from hell. There, no new beings will be born, and those old beings whose karma is exhausted will be reborn in the higher realms where they need to experience the results of their karma. Some will be reborn as pretas, some as animals, and some as gods and humans, etc. Those beings whose karma and lifespan are not exhausted will be transferred to the hells of other Buddha-fields even when this hell is destroyed, exceeding a hundred thousand. Moreover, when the great kalpa of fire gathering occurs, beings from other world realms will be thrown into the great hells. Thus it is taught. In this way, starting from the destruction of the hell realms, the two realms of pretas and animals, mainly residing in the lower levels, are destroyed in sequence. The beings scattered in the realms of gods and humans are simultaneous with the destruction of the heavens. In those two lower realms, the way beings whose karma is not exhausted go to the lower realms of other Buddha-fields is the same. How are the heavens destroyed? The people of Jambudvipa, when the lifespan is ten years, after experiencing the three small kalpas of disease, weapons, and famine, one person, without relying on a spiritual friend, practices the second dhyana alone.

Having attained it, rising from that concentration, he proclaims that the joy and happiness born of solitude are like this. That sound pervades the entire Jambudvipa (Sanskrit, Jambūdvīpa, Jambudvipa), and others, upon hearing it, immediately imitate it. Those sentient beings, initially severed from the mind akin to clear light by dependent origination, eventually attain that samadhi and are born as gods of clear light, and not a single sentient being remains in Jambudvipa, becoming empty. After such emptiness, the Eastern Purvavideha (Sanskrit, Pūrvavideha, Eastern Purvavideha) and the Western Aparagodānīya (Sanskrit, Aparagodānīya, Western Aparagodānīya) also, in sequence, like the people of Jambudvipa, become weary of desire and naturally attain the cause of being born in the higher realms, the second dhyana, and become empty. Then, the unpleasant ones of the Northern Uttarakuru (Sanskrit, Uttarakuru, Northern Kuru), not having separated from attachment to desire, are born as gods of the Thirty-Three (Trāyastriṃśa, Sanskrit, Trāyastriṃśa, Thirty-Three). The minor continents also become like the main continent, and not a single person is left. At that time, it is called the destruction of the human world. Then, the six desire realms from the Four Great Kings (Cāturmahārājika, Sanskrit, Cāturmahārājika, Four Great Kings) up to the Paranirmita-vasavartin (Sanskrit, Paranirmitavaśavartin, Paranirmita-vasavartin), also, because one god hears the proclamation of the way to attain dhyana and takes it as a cause, through practice, all the gods attain the second dhyana as before and are born as gods of clear light. At that time, it is called the destruction of the desire realm. Then, in the Brahma world, any sentient being, by its own nature, enters into the second dhyana that it has attained, and proclaims that way. All beings imitate it in that way, and after death, are born as gods of clear light. In that way, the form realm is also destroyed, and not a single sentient being remains in the world. Moreover, the vessel world is destroyed by the three great elements. First, the way of destruction by fire is that the single sun in the sky rises very hot, causing all plants and forests to dry up. Two suns rise, causing all rivers and ponds to dry up. Three suns rise, causing all great rivers to dry up. Four suns rise, causing the great Anavatapta lake (Sanskrit, Anavatapta, Anavatapta) to also dry up. Five suns rise, causing the great ocean to also dry up. How does it dry up? First, the depth dries up by a hundred yojanas, gradually two hundred, seven hundred, one thousand, ten thousand, eighty thousand yojanas, and finally the water depth is one yojana,
