When the sun has risen halfway, the hoofprints of oxen and buffaloes will completely dry up, and not a single drop will remain. When the sixth sun rises, the entire great earth, including the snow mountains, will be burned to ashes. When the seventh sun rises, Mount Sumeru and the seven surrounding mountain ranges, along with the golden earth, hundreds of millions of trillions, will all be burned, converging into a single blazing flame. Downward, the flame reaches the hell realms connected to the golden earth; upward, the flame, propelled by the wind, spirals, its tip burning the empty palaces of Brahma, blazing intensely, burning everywhere, burning exceedingly, causing the youthful gods of clear light to be frightened and agitated. The elder gods say, 'Friends, do not fear! Such a flame has occurred before in the Brahma world, causing it to be destroyed and vanish.' Then, if it becomes invisible, there is no harm here, and they breathe a sigh of relief. The seven suns are explicitly counted, and it is desired that heat gradually increases in both aspects. Then comes the destruction by water: From the sky, a continuous rain falls, as thick as a yoke and as thick as a plow shaft, causing the worlds below the second dhyana to dissolve like salt in water and be destroyed. The destruction by wind: Then, the foundational wind below, the vajra cross rises, scattering everything from everywhere, causing the worlds below the third dhyana to be destroyed and exist emptily in the nature of space. Furthermore, the worlds below the first dhyana are destroyed by fire seven times, while the second dhyana is not destroyed. When the second dhyana is destroyed by water, the third is not destroyed. When the third is destroyed by wind, the fourth is not destroyed, because they have the corresponding causes of dhyana: In the first dhyana, there are thoughts and concepts like fire, so it is destroyed by fire; in the second dhyana, there is the experience of joy and bliss like a stream of water, so it is destroyed by water; in the third dhyana, there is the movement of breathing in and out like wind, so it is destroyed by wind. Moreover, unlike the desire realm, which has coarse wind channels and interdependent supporting relationships, because the breath is the same as the component obtained from the first subtle particle born of karma, the nature of dhyana is also pure. Whether these dhyanas are accomplished or not affects the practice of yogis.

Because the descending enemy does not cause harm, (because) the Dharma is the same. Now, the conceptual thoughts of mind and mental factors have not ceased. Feelings of pleasure and displeasure remain in their own places, and the movement of wind has not subsided. Those individual self-aware consciousnesses bound by the rope of memory, if they have not even achieved worldly meditation, then they are temporarily turning their backs on the wisdom of the Victorious One, which transcends the world. In the fourth dhyana, although there is no harm from the elements that appear to form at the end of the kalpa, it is not permanent because of the death and transference of each person's karma. What is the cause of non-destruction? From then on, the activity of investigation and analysis, which is the same as the first dhyana, the coarse mind and mental factors, and the joy and happiness of being attached to the taste of meditation, which is the same as the second dhyana, and the nature of the moving wind, which is the same as the third dhyana, these three (factors) make its samadhi unwavering. The elements corresponding to the three conditions do not harm it, because for someone without enemies, there is no fear of weapons. So, which is it that three elements destroy and two elements do not destroy? Space is the opener of the door of destruction, residing in the realm of reality, without the nature of harm. And earth exists as an object to be destroyed, not as an object of destruction. Before the destruction of those meditations, the gods there naturally attain higher minds and are reborn in places like Good Increase. Thus, from the beginning of destruction to complete destruction, there are twenty intermediate kalpas. The fourth meaning is the empty kalpa: everything remains in the nature of one space, as the container of the world and the beings contained within it, empty in the realm of conditioned and unconditioned phenomena, which in the ultimate sense, is a symbol of the dissolution of the Form Body into the realm of the Dharma Body. If temporarily combined with the internal formation, abiding, destruction, and emptiness, (then) in the reductio ad absurdum it is said: The meaning is destruction and formation, abiding itself and emptiness, birth and old age and sickness and death, are the delusive wheel of existence. Thus, the duration of emptiness is also twenty intermediate kalpas. Afterwards, from the gathering of atoms, the beginning of the formation of a world begins, in the sixty dark kalpas, there are sixty formations, abiding, destructions, and emptinesses, after which is
