In short, to summarize, various karmas, both virtuous and non-virtuous, are called the ten paths of action. So it is said. In general, the world is accomplished by karma, which arises from the collection of various different cognitions. As it is said in the Hundred Karmas: Emaho! The world is born from karma, happiness and suffering are deceived by karma. When causes and conditions gather, karma arises, and karma produces happiness and suffering. Therefore, upon the foundation of the unspecified alaya, the cause and effect of samsara, non-virtue, and the lesser virtuous merit portion, as well as the cause of liberation from suffering, the liberation portion, and all the manifestations of realization of the completely purified path of action, all depend on this. Moreover, these things that did not exist from the beginning but arise suddenly are the basis for accumulating. Therefore, in order to generate suffering and the lower realms, from the perspective of what should be abandoned, there are ten non-virtuous actions; in order to accumulate happiness and the higher realms, from the perspective of what should be adopted, there are the ten virtuous paths of action that transform into the merit portion. First, explaining the first part of the ten paths of action: the three actions are killing, stealing, and sexual misconduct. First is killing: without confusion of consciousness, intentionally killing other lives. Similar actions are acts of violence such as beating. Stealing is knowingly stealing the property of others. Similar actions are obtaining through deception and trickery. Sexual misconduct is providing payment for sexual acts. Similar actions are engaging in sexual acts with those with whom it is not appropriate to engage. Therefore, killing, stealing, and sexual misconduct, these three physical actions, have direct indications, and each has a similar one, that is, two each. First, the direct transgression of killing is completed by five branches: the basis is a sentient being, there is awareness of it, there is the intention to kill, the action is performed, and death occurs at the time of the action or afterward, these are the five branches. Similar actions refer to death caused by beating or other reasons, even though there is no obvious intention to kill. Second, stealing is completed by four branches: the object to be taken is the property of another, one knows that it is another's, there is the intention to steal, and then the location is moved, and one obtains it. Similar actions are through deception...

Extortion through trade and inappropriate punishments are all based on methods. Deceptive extortion is like using inaccurate measures and scales. Sexual misconduct arising from desire has seven types: arising from oneself, arising from one's own wife, arising from taking an unsuitable woman as a wife, arising from a male, arising from an animal, and arising from a boy and a girl. Among these, arising from oneself is ejaculating oneself after remembering objects such as women. Arising from one's own wife refers to non-times, such as daytime, as well as during fasting, being sick, being pregnant, being tormented by sorrow, during menstruation, and when sleep has not cleared. Non-places refer to places such as parents, teachers, the Three Jewels, and stupas, and non-limbs refer to the mouth, excretory passage, navel, etc. In short, all places other than a woman's sexual organ. These three also apply to others. Arising from taking an unsuitable woman as a wife refers to a laywoman practicing celibacy, and a bhikkhuni, because there are no bhikkhunis in Tibet, so there is no reason, a bhikkhuni or a novice nun, or a woman observing vows, whether she is happy or not, becoming the cause for her to abandon her vows. Arising from a non-wife refers to one who is possessed by another household, as well as a close relative who has not exceeded one's own seven generations, one who possesses the banner of Dharma, one who possesses vows, parents, brothers, sisters, relatives, and one who is protected by a husband's entourage, parents-in-law and daughter-in-law, i.e., one who is protected by the husband's side, and one who is protected by unequal caste and qualities, even a prostitute who has already been possessed by another man who has paid the price, and others who are possessed like a wife, whichever it may be, showing them sexual acts. Arising from a male refers to engaging in sexual intercourse with another man's mouth and excretory passage, etc. Arising from an animal refers to the sexual organ and excretory passage, etc., of that animal. Arising from a boy and a girl refers to being unable to endure sexual intercourse, being forced by a father without authority, and engaging in sexual intercourse with their mouth, excretory passage, and sexual organ. These acts of sexual misconduct are complete with three branches.
