Just as Dipamkara, the lion king who saves beings from famine, can protect from all great fears. The supreme emanation is: In impure worlds, manifesting the form body from the Dharma body, showing the twelve deeds of the Buddha, which are summarized by the three bodies, like Shakyamuni Buddha. As stated in the Uttaratantra: With great compassion, knowing the worlds, observing all the worlds, without moving from the Dharma body, with various natures of emanation, showing birth and manifestation, descending from the Tushita heaven, entering the womb and being born, being skilled in craftsmanship, enjoying the company of consorts, renunciation and practicing austerities, going to the Bodhi tree, subduing the Maras and perfecting, enlightenment and the wheel of Dharma, showing the deeds of passing into Nirvana. In all impure realms, showing the existence of beings as long as samsara exists. Thus it is said. Second, the distinction of the dependent wisdom is: knowing the suchness of Dharma, and knowing all that exists. The first is: directly knowing the Dharma nature that is free from the extremes of elaboration, which is the nature of oneself and all knowable things such as cause and effect. It is also called the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu, because the Dharma nature is extremely peaceful. As it is said in the Madhyamakavatara: Knowing one Dharma is knowing all Dharmas, which is the aspect of the peacefulness of Dharma nature. Thus it is said. The second has three: First, from the perspective of nature: directly knowing all knowable things such as one's own nature and cause and effect, like an illusion, without confusion or error. As mentioned earlier: With what aspects, with what signs, and with what characteristics are the Dharmas proclaimed, the Tathagata has realized those aspects, those signs, and those characteristics. Thus it is said. Second, from the perspective of classification: mirror-like wisdom, equality wisdom, discriminating wisdom, and accomplishing wisdom. Third, from the perspective of their causes, there are two: The antidote cause that dispels obstacles is, on the path of learning, hearing and holding many names of Dharmas, meditating on the equality of self and others, teaching the Dharma to be tamed in accordance with their capacity, and accomplishing the benefit of others.

The way that practicing as a companion purifies the stains of the four wisdoms of one's own nature, becoming the cause of accomplishment. The Ornament of the Sutras says: For the sake of grasping and equality of mind, for the sake of truly teaching the excellent Dharma, and for the sake of accomplishing activities, the four wisdoms truly arise. Thus it is said. The cause of the nature of thought is: The Alaya of that self-existing wisdom dissolving into the Dharmadhatu is the Dharmadhatu. The obscuring afflictions above, through the power of separating from those afflictions, from the perspective of manifestation, are merely established as transformation. Thus, the eight consciousness aggregates in an impure state, including the basis Alaya, are transformed and manifest as wisdom. The Sutra Entering the Three Kayas says: The Alaya consciousness dissolving into the Dharmadhatu is mirror-like wisdom. The mind consciousness dissolving into the Dharmadhatu is the wisdom of equality. The afflicted mind dissolving into the Dharmadhatu is discriminating wisdom. The five sense consciousnesses dissolving into the Dharmadhatu are accomplishing wisdom. This is clear. In reality, from the perspective of self-nature, afflictions and wisdom are extremely contradictory, so transformation is impossible. However, from the perspective of what is to be purified and the result of purification, it is established in that way. If these are not purified, then the qualities inherent in oneself will not manifest. The respective natures are: The essence of mirror-like wisdom possesses five qualities. The Ornament of the Sutras says: Mirror wisdom has no "I", is completely continuous, always present, is not ignorant of all knowable things, and is always manifest towards them. Because there is no division limited by the grasping of "I", it is continuous. It is not that it only knows what exists here and does not know what exists elsewhere, so it is completely continuous with respect to objects. Because it transcends change and impermanence, there is no conventional truth for the three times, so inconceivable wisdom is always present, so it is uninterrupted with respect to time. Because it knows all knowable things without exception, it is uninterrupted with respect to objects. Because it does not cling to the appearance of objects, it merely knows, so it is uninterrupted with respect to appearances. The other three wisdoms exist as its companions, as it is said: Mirror wisdom is unwavering, the three wisdoms rely on it, equality and discrimination, only accomplishing.
