Thus it was said. Therefore, although the mind ceases and there is no conceptualization, the realm of Dharma does not cease. Thus, the activity of compassion follows prayers like a wish-fulfilling jewel, and appears in accordance with the vessel of water, like a reflection of the moon. The Gandavyuha Sutra states: 'The king of wish-fulfilling jewels fulfills whatever is thought of. Likewise, the Dharma-nature of the Buddhas always accomplishes prayers. In this world without beginning or end, he becomes the guide for the people of the world. Through these prayers of his, these ten directions are filled with Buddhas. Just as the moon rises, countless reflections appear in vessels of water, yet the moon does not become two. Likewise, those who are free from attachment and possess wisdom, attain perfect enlightenment without attachment, and appear extensively in all realms, yet there is no duality in the Buddhas.' Thus it was taught. Similarly, the way of knowing the knowable is also twofold: Knowing the suchness is that the wisdom of the Buddhas is peaceful, free from elaboration, and has completely transcended the imputations of clinging to characteristics. Although in the all-pervading Dharma-nature, there is not even a little something to be known, in the state of ordinary beings, there is impurity due to what is abandoned by seeing, and in the state of Bodhisattvas, there is impurity due to what is abandoned by meditation. However, having completely liberated from both defilements, the Dharma-nature of individual self-awareness is directly realized. As stated in the Holy Compendium Sutra: 'Whatever is assembled and unassembled, and black and white dharmas, having completely shattered with wisdom, when not even a particle remains, in those worlds, the enumeration of the Prajnaparamita goes forth. Like the sky, it does not abide even slightly in anything.' And in the Sutra it says: 'Not seeing anything is seeing the Dharma.' Thus it is. The way of knowing the extent is that, although unwavering from the equipoise of such wisdom, with non-objective wisdom, all knowable things, the false nature, are directly known as if they were an illusion, without confusion. As stated in the Sutra: 'The object of the All-Knowingness is the absence of things.' Thus it is. However, it is not knowing through the connection of sense consciousnesses that grasp individual objects, because it is impossible for impure objects of sight to have their own characteristics.

However, even if there is no truth, there is falsehood, so for the knowable, it is necessary to understand existence, and if you do not understand, you will be separated from the all-knowing. Therefore, with the supreme wisdom and the knowledge that is one with things, one can understand in an instant. As the Avatamsaka Sutra says: "The Buddha's supreme wisdom, in an instant knows everything." Similarly, all knowable things of the three times are not understood in a sequence that follows conceptualization, but are understood simultaneously without before or after. As the Ornament of the Sutras says: "Just as a single ray of sunlight shines, and all things in the world appear, so too for all knowable things, the Buddha's wisdom also shines." This is because the Buddha has abandoned distraction and habitual tendencies, so he constantly abides in the Dharmakaya without wavering, which is equipoise. As the Noble Jewel Heap Sutra says: "Even when the elephant dwells, it is in equipoise, even when the elephant sleeps, it is in equipoise, even when the elephant sleeps, it is in equipoise." Even so, the activity of benefiting others is continuous, so it is merely established as subsequent attainment. As the Uttaratantra says: "The cause of being free from the two obscurations is the two wisdoms, non-conceptual and its subsequent attainment is called that wisdom." Third, the activity of benefiting others is: as long as there are beings to be tamed, they constantly abide in the nature of the Dharmakaya, and the two Rupakayas rely on this, continuously manifesting in subtle and gross ways, arising according to the inclinations of beings. As the Ornament of Clear Realization says: "Thus, as long as samsara exists, activity is considered to be continuous." This is also in relation to the Nirmanakaya that arises from the Sambhogakaya, as the Uttaratantra says: "Due to the determination of other powers, equal view of self and sentient beings, and because activity is not fully accomplished, activity continues as long as samsara exists." The way of this is that for the faculties of sentient beings, and the methods of taming them, and the actions of the methods, and the admonishments that do not exceed the time, etc., the way in which spontaneous accomplishment in benefiting others is shown by nine similes. For example, just as the image of Indra appears on a pure beryl ground, the mind-streams of beings are a pure ground that is virtuous and without defilement, the Buddha's
