Devoid. Because it is unconditioned, it transcends the eight aggregates of consciousness. As it says in the Mother Sutra: "The practice of the Perfection of Wisdom is the practice of space. In space, there is no form, no feeling, no perception, no formation, no consciousness." And so on, up to "there is no Buddha." And in the Compendium it says: "Forms are not seen, feelings are not seen, perceptions are not seen, and mind is not seen. That in which consciousness, mind, and intellect are not seen, the Thus-Gone One said, 'This is seeing the Dharma.'" This is also to show the vow to prevent the arising of the four extremes, although this is the view of the Prasangika Madhyamaka. However, if one negates with the mind by saying "there is not," it is even more contradictory to wisdom itself. It is not nihilistic annihilation, but the treasury of all body and wisdom. It is said that, like this, after negating the extreme of existence, one cannot suddenly meditate on something that does not exist, because it is primordially pure by nature, so the aggregates are empty and momentary, so it is not permanent. Because it does not abide in any place, it is signless. Because it arises and diminishes in an instant, it is wishless. Abiding in the three doors of liberation is the source or basis of the great body and wisdom of the Thus-Gone Ones. Mipham Rinpoche said: "In this, there is nothing to be removed, and there is nothing to be established." After thus establishing the nature of the ground, "look correctly at the correct reality, and seeing correctly, one is liberated." Because the individual discriminating wisdom transcends the realm of ordinary beings' minds, it is established as the view of the Middle Way when it is realized. As it also says in the Jewel Heap Sutra: "Subhuti, if the mind is completely sought, it cannot be found. Whatever cannot be found is invisible." Therefore, with the self-nature being completely pure, look correctly at the correct reality. The so-called looking is also merely conventional. Not moving from the natural state is the best meditation. In front of that, all intellect and attention do not exist. In that, self-nature purity is unadulterated by artificial rituals. By the very nature of reality, it does not conceptualize other objects, but it is not like a blind person without the gathering of conditions, nor is it like being obscured by sleep, nor is it a state of unconscious absorption.

It is more important than writing, therefore, in all activities, abide in the yoga of suchness, and desire to be connected with the meaning of selflessness. Thus, when discriminatingly examining with wisdom, one will attain true wisdom, the path of seeing, where all phenomena are invisible, as stated in the Intermediate Mother Sutra: "The meaning of not seeing anything is seeing." It also says, "What is true seeing? It is not seeing all phenomena." Therefore, the term for such a view is established. In the Engaging in Bodhisattva Deeds, it says: "Therefore, by understanding that self and others are empty, the yogi will be liberated and attain happiness." Thus, with true wisdom, realize that all phenomena are without inherent existence, and in the manner of following liberation, follow the contemplation that those five aggregates are also inherently empty and pure. Thus, combine it with the meaning of the Heart Sutra. However, if one scrutinizes the word "seeing," then at that time, it will become emptiness without attention, thereby making the state of mind extremely unpleasant. The emptiness that is not inherently existent but is established by conventional, discriminating beings will become a branch of existence. Why is that? Because the so-called "individual examination of the Middle Way" is considered to be without discrimination in the ultimate state. In the Light Victorious's Questions Sutra, it says: "Light Victorious, furthermore, regarding form, neither individually thinking of it as permanent nor individually thinking of it as impermanent is called individual examination of phenomena on the Middle Way. Light Victorious, the so-called 'permanent' is one extreme. The so-called 'impermanent' is the second extreme. What is in the middle of these two extremes? It is that which is unanalyzable, un-indicatable, without support, non-manifest, without discrimination, without a place. Light Victorious, this is individual examination of phenomena on the Middle Way. Light Victorious, the so-called 'self' is one extreme. The so-called 'selflessness' is the second extreme. Light Victorious, the so-called 'exists' is one extreme. The so-called 'does not exist' is the second extreme. What is in the middle of these two extremes? It is that which is unanalyzable, un-indicatable, without support, non-manifest, without discrimination, without a place. Light Victorious, this is individual examination of phenomena on the Middle Way." And so on.
