Like that, from the beginning of destruction until complete annihilation, there are twenty intermediate kalpas. The fourth is the empty kalpa: everything abides in the nature of one emptiness, as the container of support and the content of dependence, conditioned and unconditioned dharmas are empty in the realm of dharma. In the ultimate sense, it is a symbol of the peacefulness of the Form Body in the realm of the Dharma Body. For a while, combined with the internal formation, abiding, destruction, and emptiness, it is said in the *Mūlamadhyamakakārikā*: The meaning is destruction and formation, as well as abiding and emptiness, birth and old age and sickness and death, are the wheel of existence. Thus it is said. The duration of such emptiness is also twenty intermediate kalpas. Again, after that, from the gathering of dust particles, the beginning of establishing a world system starts. In sixty dark kalpas, there are sixty formations, abidings, destructions, and emptinesses. After that, in a kalpa like a star, countless Buddhas will appear, which is the lamp kalpa. That is, on the Sumeru of the lotus in the hand of Vairochana Gangchen Chö (Great Snow Mountain Stupa), there are five pure lands of body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities, called five groups decorated with the foundation and essence of flowers, five in each group. The thirteenth, the auspicious "Be'u" syllable at the heart, directly faces the pure land of the Vajrayana. In the sky above this billion-fold world of the Sahā realm, countless worlds have appeared before. In the future, at the end, there will be kalpas of formation, abiding, destruction, and emptiness, and countless worlds, just like the other ten directions are the same. Like this, the twenty intermediate kalpas of equal time between the four of formation, abiding, destruction, and emptiness, added together, eighty in total, are called one great kalpa. Those that are well-established and formed are firm, stable, unchangeable, cannot be destroyed by any cause or condition, are prosperous and flourishing, and are filled with many beings. However, the very name "world" implies that from the end of formation, decline begins, and eventually, nothing remains, and it is destroyed and emptied. Look at this state. Observing in this way, our body is as fragile as a moth of a day, life is very unstable, surrounded by many harms, and less reliable than a water bubble.

Therefore, one should strive to practice the supreme Dharma of liberation with great renunciation. As it is said in the "Words on Impermanence": "Where the earth is all burned, Mount Meru is also reduced to ashes, The water of the great ocean also dries up, What need to mention those embodied beings?" Furthermore, inwardly, observe the destruction of each sentient being's own world. First, from the nature of the alaya consciousness, which is like space, relying on the karma gathered by the winds of ignorance and conceptualization, and the water of desire. From the essence of the parents' blood arises a body like Mount Meru, eyes like the sun and moon, sense bases like the four continents and subcontinents, the twelve ayatanas, and the eight aggregates of consciousness with the seven mountains and surrounding environment, the six chakras corresponding to the six realms. These also appear in many ways, such as happiness and suffering, just as different places and kinds. This inner vast empty world also, in the same way as the destruction of the outer world, when the time of death arrives, the outer four elements dissolve into the inner four elements, fire seven and water one, the eight elements dissipate. The inner and secret elements dissolve into the original luminosity, and everything becomes one space. Like this, the body's four elements are gathered, the three channels, bindus, and winds are exhausted, the seven fires, and the one water that transfers life. The wind that cuts off the breath destroys everything, body and mind separate, and the body is also destroyed by the harm of the elements into indivisible dust, and ultimately becomes nothing. One should contemplate this. Commentary on the second chapter of "The Collection on Impermanence." The second general meaning is divided into four: contemplating the impermanence of holy beings, contemplating the impermanence of the lord of beings, contemplating the impermanence of the nature of death, and contemplating the impermanence of various examples. First, it is said: "The teacher of gods and humans, the vajra body, is also constantly viewed, but the veil obscures the eye of wisdom, the indestructible offerings also become lax, and he demonstrates the joy of realization in the realm of peace." Thus, from Dipamkara Buddha to Shakyamuni Buddha, the seven generations, and the thousand and two Buddhas between the past and future Maitreya Buddha in this Fortunate Aeon, and the solitary realizers who appeared in between, are also the fields of emanation bodies.
