Therefore, having abandoned it, one should abide in such awareness until signs, or the enemies of discrimination, or thieves have not arisen. If so, one might think: In the Brahma's Inquiry Sutra, it says that those who properly contemplate the Dharma are wise. Does this not contradict? It is not so. This refers to the wisdom of discriminating observation, as well as the wisdom of contemplation, arising and ceasing, and entering into characteristics. Although one initially investigates, ultimately one enters into the meaning of no-self-nature. As the Noble Jewel Cloud Sutra says: Having investigated with vipassanā, realizing no-self-nature is entering into no-sign. Therefore, in the ultimate sense, the Lankavatara Sutra says: The great wise one who investigates with wisdom does not realize self-characteristics and general characteristics; therefore, all dharmas are without self-nature. And, the Manjushri's Abode Sutra says: Discriminating thoughts are all wavering; without discrimination, one attains nirvana; whoever knows its self-nature is called wise. Thus, in samadhi, the vipassanā of completely knowing the self-nature that is without discrimination and transcends both sinking and excitement is the self-nature of wisdom. If one adds to it the wisdom of analyzing with intellect, one will stray into the dhyana of ordinary people's practice. As the Noble Sutra of Purifying Karmic Obscurations says: Ordinary people analyze and investigate, clinging to things; like an illusory accumulation, it is nonexistent and empty. This has no attachment, hatred, or ignorance; all these dharmas are without characteristics; the root is not visible, originally pacified. And, the Brahma's Complete Inquiry Sutra says: How should one cultivate the path? The Buddha said: Do not discriminate between dharma and non-dharma; cultivate the path that is free from characteristics. And, in the Stages of Meditation by Master Nagarjuna, it says: I have no slight discriminating consciousness; likewise, this dharma can be distinguished; there is not even a slight knowing; the nature of arising and consciousness appears to foolish children. Therefore, in a state where discrimination and the defilements of the mind are completely purified, with individual self-awareness, in the state of no-self-nature, experiencing with the wisdom of meditation that is equally abiding in all ways, therefore, for this meaning, the fully enlightened Buddhas and masters

Because that itself is the measure. Therefore, in order to accustom oneself to the yoga of accomplishing the union of tranquility and insight, one can meditate for an hour, or half an hour, or a period of time, or as long as one desires. When all dharmas are focused on the meaning of no self-nature, and there is no sinking or excitement, and no manifest fabrication, then that is the time when the path of the union of tranquility and insight is perfected. At that time, the manifestation of the bodhisattva's direct perception that can arise is the action of the yoga of the bodhisattva ground. So, what are the powers of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas? It is that the mind is workable, the mind is completely tamed, obtaining mastery over samadhi, and accomplishing all things that are merely desired by relying on samadhi, that is called power. And that power is also divided into five types according to the division of types, namely, the power of direct perception, the power of dharma, the power of co-emergence, the power common to the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, and the power that is not common. After dividing in this way, the power of direct perception is as before, and the others can be understood from that. At those times, the difference between the samadhi and post-samadhi of the mundane and the supramundane is: in the appearance of samadhi, the object of appearance appears without ceasing, but it is purified by conceptual thought. The part of appearance, for the idea of substantiality, the five objects appear as usual, so it is also called mundane. Because, when there is no aspect of grasper and grasped, it is a non-conceptual mind. Therefore, in the "Commentary Small Treatise" it says: The pure mundane is the aspect of grasping and grasping, the aspect of manifest clinging, which is held by the post-samadhi mind, in order to generate the fruit that is in accordance with oneself, such as form, etc., and to cause the reversal of perception, etc. This is how it is explained. That is to say, in the mind of the appearing part of that time, on the part of the appearance of emptiness, it is held by the post-samadhi mind, which is established as samadhi and post-samadhi. In terms of meaning, it is not different from samadhi itself, and the essence of wisdom, therefore samadhi itself abandons the grasper and grasped, and is in accordance with the subsequent, similarly, the post-attainment, which is the same essence as oneself, also abandons the perception of clinging to the nature of the five aggregates such as form as the grasper and grasped, this is how it is shown. The post-attainment that arises from samadhi is...
