And also, one should observe with individual contemplation and with great compassion towards all sentient beings as the object. Son of good family, in this way, Bodhisattvas who are skilled in means and pure in the perfection of wisdom will be able to gain mastery over the object. Thus it is said. Now, whatever the object of a Bodhisattva may be, everything now is without exception for the sake of actualizing the omniscient wisdom. A Bodhisattva who completely dedicates all objects is a Bodhisattva who is skilled in means, seeing that all dharmas follow after enlightenment. This passage clearly shows that all objects are conditioned phenomena. Since this is the case, the characteristic of dedication is also completely established. And the Perfection of Wisdom is liberated from the three times, the three realms, and good and evil themselves, therefore there is no dedication for it. In the Sutra of True Concordance, it says: "Its sins and merits, the two parts are separately conceived, the wise should abandon these two." And so on, there are many similar statements. Therefore, when arising from that samadhi, one should view all the worlds as illusions, mirages, dreams, water moons, and visual impairments. Afterwards, with the wisdom that is attained, one should generate the mind in this way: Alas, these sentient beings, because they are afflicted by pervasive afflictions, have not comprehended such profound Dharma, and therefore wander in samsara, how pitiful! Thus, the conventional Bodhicitta is manifested. And also, one should place all dharmas in the state of non-manifesting samadhi, which is the ultimate Bodhicitta. When the mind, free from the faults of sinking and agitation, abides equally and merges into Suchness, then one should relax effort and train in equanimity, which is the union of calm abiding and insight. If effort is applied to this, the mind will become agitated due to distraction. And if the radiance of wisdom diminishes and becomes dull, one should recognize that there is no superior seeing, like a blind person, a person whose mind is plunged into darkness, or like closing the eyes, without the radiance of discriminating wisdom, in order to eliminate this fault, one should seek out the dullness, raise it up, and then with correct wisdom recognize the meaning of what is to be known, which is non-discriminating wisdom.

One should proclaim the melodious sound that opens up through awareness. When someone desires to use sharp discrimination and analysis as superior seeing (vipassanā), and their mind becomes distracted and agitated like a monkey, if they mistake this for discriminating wisdom, it will greatly contradict the emptiness and selflessness of all things. Why? Because wisdom is a specific object; if the object is not established, then wisdom itself cannot be established, just as if a tree is not established, its branches and leaves cannot be established either. The Paṇḍita Prajñā-mokṣa also stated this in the commentary on the Madhyamaka. If that is the case, someone might think this contradicts what is said in the Saṃdhinirmocana Sūtra: "Thus, in the realm of meditative absorption, with respect to those images, the discrimination of the meaning of what is to be known, the detailed discrimination, the complete conceptualization, the complete analysis, the forbearance, the desire, the differentiation, the view, and the conceptualization—these are called superior seeing. Thus, a Bodhisattva is skilled in superior seeing." If someone thinks this, then these are not referring to the sole superior seeing that, during meditative equipoise, sees the nature of all phenomena as the non-dual wisdom, like the expanse of the sky. When the distinctions of what is to be known enter the object of the knower, one discriminates by knowing as much as is to be known; when the nature is completely pure, what is to be known does not enter the object, and one knows it as it is, thereby discriminating in detail; because one possesses the wisdom of hearing and thinking, one remembers the sacred words, including the twelve branches of scripture, and contemplates their meaning, so whatever clings to characteristics with analysis is complete conceptualization and complete analysis. The two ornaments of Jambudvipa (Asanga and Vasubandhu) also said this. Discrimination and analysis only differ in that the former is coarse and the latter is subtle. Because they focus on moments and many parts, they are conditioned, conventional wisdom mixed with the eight consciousness aggregates, possessing a lineage. As it is also said in the Mañjuśrīvikrīḍita Sūtra: "Characteristics in meditation, and the wandering of wisdom, are also the work of Māra." And it says: "O son of the gods, as much as there is conceptualization, discrimination, complete conceptualization, seeing, hearing, differentiation, and as many places of consciousness as there are, that much is the work of Māra." Therefore, these are
