A Bodhisattva is one who is bound by the vows of individual liberation. However, they do not consider themselves pure by merely adhering to individual liberation vows; they rely on the Bodhisattva vows. As it is said, although it seems contradictory to the lower vows in terms of form, it does not lose its essence in reality, so it is not a contradiction but a compatibility. Thus, the Teacher, being skilled in means, speaks according to the subjugation of beings. If everything he said were contradictory, it would not be permissible. If it is permissible, then it cannot be contradictory. Therefore, the vows of individual liberation are to refrain from harming others. In the case of the Bodhisattva vows, on top of refraining from harming sentient beings, one engages in benefiting them. In the vows of individual liberation, if the four root downfalls occur, the root is said to be broken. However, a Bodhisattva would never engage in all the complete sinful and unwholesome deeds. Due to the power of great compassion, benefiting others through formal transgressions is not prohibited. As it is said in the *Bodhicharyavatara*: "Those with compassion, seeing far ahead, allow even what was formerly forbidden." For example, concerning killing, if certain evildoers are killed, the burden of their suffering will be lessened. If they are not killed, they will fully possess all the conditions to suffer in endless lower realms. Seeing that there is no other way to benefit them other than killing, those who possess such insight and great compassion take upon themselves all the sins of those evildoers and kill them. In this case, they do not fulfill all the aspects of the downfall of killing, so the vows are not broken. In particular, regarding the way of mantra, considering it from the aspect of skillful means: Thus, the downfalls for a Hearer, become similar transgressions for a Bodhisattva. The intoxicating substances of mantra vows, which transform into The assembly of thoughts of the practitioner arises as deities. Both the basis and the intention are transformed. Not being a monastic, nor a Bodhisattva, not being overcome by desire and afflictions lacking skillful means, all appearances are deities and mandalas, and the substances of enjoyment are the nature of nectar. For whom is the way of abiding in transformed cognition permitted? Upon the blessings of individual liberation and the Bodhisattva, the monks and the Sangha, the offerings to the Yidam also increase in perfection. The aspects of training also extend to others. Thus, the all-encompassing of mantra,

When practicing the stages of generation and completion, satisfying with inner offerings, for example, if one indulges in alcohol, it is a downfall for the Hearers and a transgression of vows for the Bodhisattvas. However, if one visualizes oneself as the deity, then for a weakened Bhikshu or Bodhisattva woman, there will be no self-grasping Svātantrika clinging to "I am named so-and-so." Similarly, in general, clinging to things as alcohol is a conceptual construct. But especially when blessed as nectar through the methods of Samādhi, mantra, and mudrā, that thought or ordinary conceptual aggregates transform into other cognitions of deities, palaces, and nectar, etc. Therefore, all careless actions and ultimate faults such as intoxication are overwhelmed by the vast wisdom of Vipassanā non-conceptualization. By offering the Yidam deity on top of the faults, one can complete the accumulation of merit, and because of the greatness of the secret mantra method, the city of the Vajra body is enhanced, and the elements of channels, winds, and bindus become strong. The merits of the swift path arising from this, like growing upwards, should be inferred similarly for other parts of the training. However, one must distinguish the unmixed self-nature, negation, and necessity. The essence transforms, merits increase, the key is non-conflict, and the main thing is to utilize the timing. Among these, unmixed self-nature means that the object taken from any of the three vows, the intention with which it is taken, and the rituals of how it is taken are all in their own unmixed ways. Because the time of taking is also necessarily different, it is impossible for each self-nature to have a common basis, and because of clinging to their respective characteristics, the self-natures are unmixed. Complete negation and necessity means that what is negated is affliction, and what is needed is not being bound by it. The respective paths are the same, just as in the Hearer vehicle one abandons, in the Bodhisattva vehicle one transforms, and in the Mantra vehicle one makes it the path. This example can be understood. For example, if a Hāla tree grows in a garden, the owner, because he is not skilled in methods, uproots its sapling, branches, leaves, and roots completely and throws them far away. Similarly, from the Sutra Pitaka of the Hearers, the objects grasped externally and the habits grasped internally, together with their habits,
