It is also necessary to abide. If one does not cultivate oneself, even if others are placed on the path of compliance or opposition, they will not listen, because this is obvious. Among them, giving accomplishes temporary benefits, kind speech accomplishes corresponding causes, beneficial conduct holds the Dharma that ultimately benefits, and acting in accordance with others enables others to follow oneself, becoming a cause of guidance. As stated in the Ornament of the Sutras: "Giving corresponds to taking that meaning, and beings enter after oneself. Kind speech, beneficial conduct, and acting in accordance with others are called the means of gathering." Thus, all actions that gather beings with the four means of gathering and are sustained by the mind of enlightenment, directly or indirectly seeking benefit and happiness for beings, are the ethics of benefiting sentient beings. However, in the Bodhisattva Grounds, the ways of benefiting others are summarized into twelve types, which will be explained below based on metaphors. Thus, the nature of the three vows of a Bodhisattva, as stated in the Heap of Jewels Sutra: "Among them, the vow of discipline protects the mind from non-virtue. The vow of gathering virtuous dharmas manifests virtuous roots. The vow of benefiting sentient beings accomplishes the benefit of others." Thus, both the Pratimoksha vow and the Bodhisattva vow, internally divided, the Bodhisattva is superior to the Pratimoksha, surpassing it through the four doors of difference. The Pratimoksha only prevents harming others and their roots, while the Bodhisattva adds benefit on top of that. The Pratimoksha includes seven abandonments, cutting off the evils of body and speech, while the Bodhisattva mainly focuses on the ten abandonments. Among them, the precepts of the Pratimoksha are included as one aspect of the training for ordained individuals who possess the Bodhisattva vow. However, for ordained individuals who are not Bodhisattvas, they are accomplished as superior Dharma by adding training. Thus, the Pratimoksha relies on restraining the evil deeds of one's own continuum, merely being the vow of discipline that prevents harming others and their roots. The Bodhisattva, on the other hand, adds benefit on the basis of not harming others, possessing all three: restraining evil deeds, gathering virtuous dharmas, and benefiting sentient beings. The Pratimoksha is the abandonment of seven things.

Primarily focuses on the actions of body and speech. Bodhisattvas primarily focus on the ten abandonments along with motivation. From the 'Compendium of Perfections' it says: It becomes the path of bliss to heaven and liberation, do not deviate from these ten paths of action. By abiding in this, with the thought of benefiting beings, the difference in intention will have results. Speech, body, and mind should be properly tamed, the Buddha said that in brief, it is discipline. Thus. Even so, the method of learning from knowing what is allowed and prohibited is: Especially, the place of learning is at the time of individual liberation, one should not violate vows for one's own sake. If a Bodhisattva is to benefit others, the seven non-virtuous actions of body and speech, knowing that it is changing or about to change for the benefit of others, and not obscuring one's own roots of virtue, but rather increasing them, these three situations can be observed and allowed. For example, with great mental strength, the black man with a short spear, the Brahmin's son Star, are examples, the apparent fault is actually good in meaning. Because it is done with a mind that has the power of cause and effect. There is no crucial moment for the three (non-virtuous) actions of mind. Therefore, the precepts of individual liberation

It is not so. The precepts that have been established follow the eyes and ears, showing that wrong views arise from body and speech. The precepts that have not been established are to skillfully enter the means of subduing these through the consciousness of the mind. Because there is no wrong view, it is said that in between and in between, the qualities of the Three Jewels should be praised. It should be known that wrong view itself is produced by evil motivation and is of all kinds, so there is no allowance. How are the actions of body and speech allowed? Like this, based on the fact that the cause and effect of both the worker and the experiencer have been calculated with great compassion, like taking the life of an executioner in order to save many lives. For example, knowing that the black dwarf is going to take the lives of five hundred merchants, the captain, with great compassion, generates the mind to liberate the evil one from the ripening of karma, and the merchants from the fear of life, and kills the black dwarf; and although wealthy, he is stingy and does not give alms, and for the benefit of both those who are starving and near death, he generates the mind to steal from the rich and give to the poor; and the Brahmin boy who likes the stars, after practicing celibacy in the forest for eighty-two thousand years, goes to the city to beg for alms, becomes infatuated with the merchant's daughter, and is tormented by desire, and in order to prevent him from dying immediately, he abandons celibacy, and is reborn in the Brahma world; and in order to liberate someone who is certain to be killed from life, he gives a signal and lies, like a king performing a sacrifice; and in order to liberate himself from being completely deluded by evil friends and led into evil destinies, he separates the two of them with divisive speech; and because he is oppressed by sorrow and his mind is distracted, he tells stories and jokes in order to wander in samsara or to see the necessity of entering the Dharma; and in order to prevent him from entering into evil deeds, he scolds him with harsh words, etc. These, although the form is not virtuous, are actually virtuous, so they are allowed. In "Purifying the Obscurations of the Mind," it says: A monk was urged by his own father to say that he wanted to be quick, and after offering it, even if he died, it is not an uninterrupted sin. Therefore, at the root of thought.
