No matter how it is extracted, as soon as it is extracted, it eliminates the darkness of the obscurations of karma and afflictions accumulated from hundreds of thousands of inexpressible eons, and also generates the light of wisdom. Son of the lineage, for example, the great dragon kings who hold the crown of the wish-fulfilling jewel king have no fear of being harmed by others. Similarly, the bodhisattvas who hold the crown of the wish-fulfilling jewel king of the great compassion of bodhicitta have no fear of being harmed by the evil realms and evil paths. Son of the lineage, for example, all the wealth, grains, jewels, gold, silver, flowers, fragrances, garlands, unguents, foods, and enjoyments within the range illuminated by the light of the sun and moon circles cannot be exchanged for the value of the great sovereign jewel. Similarly, as long as the omniscient wisdom illuminates the realm of the dharmadhatu in the three times, all the virtuous roots, both with and without outflows, of all gods and humans, and all shravakas and pratyekabuddhas, cannot be exchanged for the value of the great sovereign jewel of generating bodhicitta. Son of the lineage, for example, if a drop of lion's milk is poured into a great ocean full of cow's milk, buffalo's milk, and sheep's milk, all the milk will curdle and cannot be drunk. Similarly, if a drop of the milk of the mind of omniscience, the great lion of the Tathagata, is poured into the ocean of milk of all the karma and afflictions accumulated over hundreds of thousands of inexpressible eons, then all of it will be completely exhausted, and all the liberations of the shravakas and pratyekabuddhas will not remain. Son of the lineage, for example, a person who relies on a hero is not afraid of all enemies. Similarly, a bodhisattva who generates the mind of omniscience relies on a hero

Relying on it, one will not be feared by all enemies of evil deeds. Son of the lineage, for example, even if a diamond is broken, it can still overwhelm the golden ornaments that are superior to all. Similarly, the thought of the diamond of generating the mind of omniscience, even in the Han Chinese scriptures, there are statements such as "even if one does not possess practice" and "even if one is not diligent," etc., and many inconsistencies appear, which are clearly differences in understanding between the translator and the citer. Even if one is broken by entering the wrong path, one can still overwhelm the golden ornaments of the merits of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, and one will not abandon the name of Bodhisattva, and one can completely eliminate all poverty in Samsara. Thus it is said. In the chapter of Ajatashatru, Mahakashyapa also said: "Manjushri, for example, the cub of a lion, even if it has not been long since it was born, and its strength and skills have not yet fully matured, wherever the scent of the lion cub is carried, the groups of wild animals there cannot bear that scent and flee. Those elephants that are tightly bound by strong ropes also feel fear upon smelling the scent of the lion cub, struggle to escape, and cut the ropes that bind them, and flee as they please. Those who live in mountain caves return to mountain caves, those who live in holes return to holes, and those who live in water enter the water. Birds fly into the sky. Manjushri, similarly, even if the power of wisdom of a Bodhisattva has not yet fully matured, as soon as one generates Bodhicitta, one can overwhelm all the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, and all the Maras are frightened and terrified from their own abodes, and they do not like to stay in their own abodes." Thus it is said. In the Kashyapa chapter, it says: "Kashyapa, for example, abandoning the light of the moon, no one would ever bow to the shape of the stars. Kashyapa, similarly, wise people also abandon the Bodhisattva who has entered my teachings, and will not bow to the Shravakas. Kashyapa, for example, worshiping the crescent moon is the same as worshiping the full moon. Kashyapa, similarly, those who have faith in me should worship the Bodhisattvas, but not the Tathagatas. Why is that? Because, from the Bodhisattva

The Tathagatas are born from that. All Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas are born from the Tathagatas. Considering such reasons, even the fully enlightened Buddhas promise to honor Bodhisattvas. As stated in the "Ratnarashi Sutra": Ananda, what do you think? If a person's hands and feet are cut off, can he live? He replied: Bhagavan, he can live. The Bhagavan said: If his heart is taken out, can he live? He replied: Bhagavan, he cannot live. The Bhagavan said: Ananda, the hands and feet are like Shariputra and Maudgalyayana. The heart is like the Bodhisattvas. Ananda, if a Bodhisattva enters a chariot and enjoys the pleasures of the five senses, and there is no one else to drive the chariot, Ananda, the Tathagata can even place that Bodhisattva's chariot on his head. Even if the venerable Shariputra and Maudgalyayana remain in the three doors of liberation for a kalpa or more, the Tathagata would not diligently serve and attend to them. Thus it is said. Therefore, the benefits of generating the mind of enlightenment cannot be measured by the extent of the sky. Like fire and water in the ocean, even if as many Buddhas as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River were to speak for that many kalpas, they could not exhaust the limits of its merits. Therefore, one should single-mindedly aspire to the accumulation of merit, and day and night continuously ride the chariot of joy born from the door of benefits. Who would not generate the mind of enlightenment? Why? Because each mind that desires to benefit the immeasurable realm of sentient beings, which cannot be known to be exhausted, can make the accumulation of merit equal to the sky. There is no room for doubt here. As stated in the "Sutra of the Meeting of Father and Son": Monks, the collection of merits of generating the mind endowed with omniscience, even if the Tathagatas were to speak of it for as many kalpas as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River, with as many Buddhas as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River, they could not exhaust it. Why? Because when the Tathagata formerly practiced the conduct of a Bodhisattva, all the sentient beings he gathered as sentient beings
