So! If you cannot find it that way, then those with the power of self-reliance certainly do not need to rely on a teacher or a sinner who is famous. As the meaning of the "Sutra of the Array of the Pure Land of Manjushri" is stated in the "Lamp for the Path of Enlightenment": If a lama is not found, then the ritual for receiving vows from another should be correctly explained. At that time, Manjushri, who became Amparaja, how he generated the mind of enlightenment, the inconceivable Buddha-field of Manjushri, as stated in the "Ornament Sutra," is similarly written clearly here. After recording the history in this way, the manner of the ritual is to generate the complete mind of enlightenment in front of all the protectors, and invite all beings as guests, liberating them from samsara, and harmful thoughts, wrathful minds, as well as stinginess and jealousy, from now until the attainment of supreme enlightenment, I will not do. Practice celibacy, abandon sins and desires, rejoice in the vows of discipline, and follow the Buddha's teachings. I am not pleased to attain enlightenment quickly, and for the sake of one sentient being, I will abide at the end of samsara. Purify immeasurable and inconceivable lands, and all that is done from the beginning of the name abides in the ten directions. My actions of body and speech should be purified in all ways, and I will not do unwholesome actions. Thus, accumulate vast clouds of offerings, and visualize that countless Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are abiding in the sky in front, and receive (the vows). Whenever, adjusting the motivation is very important. The virtues of the Dharma that are good in the beginning, middle, and end, and as stated in the "Garland of Jewels" and the "Array of Trees," speak of the immeasurable qualities of the mind of enlightenment. In general, being virtuous in the beginning, middle, and end is the unmistakable characteristic of the holy Dharma, which has been said before. Here, for the sake of mind training, being virtuous in the beginning is being weary of the faults of samsara, being virtuous in the middle is being delighted in the benefits of liberation, and being virtuous in the end is cultivating the mind with omniscient wisdom, emptiness, and great compassion as the core, and also temporarily generating delight in the benefits of the mind of enlightenment, and here also briefly describe the "Array of Trees."

The way of speaking about actions. Those sentient beings who generate the mind of unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment in the world are extremely difficult to find. The mind of enlightenment is like the seed of a Buddha. It is like a field because it causes all the white dharmas of all beings to increase. It is like the fire at the end of an eon because it burns all faults. It is like the ground because it exhausts all non-virtuous dharmas. It is like a wish-fulfilling jewel king because it accomplishes all purposes. It is like a good vase because it completely fulfills all thoughts. It is like an iron hook because it draws beings wandering in the water of samsara. It is like a stupa to the world with gods, humans, and asuras. In short, as many Buddha's dharmas and Buddha's qualities as there are, so many are the qualities and benefits of the mind of enlightenment. Why is that? Because all the circles of activity of bodhisattvas arise from this. All the tathagatas who have appeared in the past, future, and present are born from this. Son of lineage, it is like this: for example, there is a kind of mercury called "appearing as gold." Even one srang of it can turn a hundred srangs of iron into gold. That one srang of mercury cannot be exhausted or turned into iron by a thousand srangs of iron. Similarly, the essence of mercury that generates the mind of omniscience, which is completely held by the wisdom of completely dedicating the root of virtue, exhausts all the iron of karma and afflictions, and transforms all dharmas into the color of omniscience. However, that one essence of generating the mind of omniscience cannot be defiled or exhausted by all the iron of karma and afflictions. Son of lineage, it is like this: for example, one lamp, no matter what kind of house or room it is in, when it is lit, it immediately dispels and illuminates the darkness that has accumulated for hundreds of thousands of years. Similarly, the lamp of generating the mind of omniscience, in the dark house of the mind's thoughts, accompanied by the darkness of ignorance
