要知道，这完全是来自于唯一三宝的慈悲。为什么呢？因为他们总是为了众生的利益着想，这就是慈悲的力量。《谛者品》中说：“愚痴黑暗常时覆，心为遮蔽诸众生，若见沉溺轮回狱，正直圣者生悲悯。”又说：“能仁大悲恒时生，此不生者终无有，安住一切有情意，是故彼佛无过失。”虽然如此，但少闻者可能不明白三宝的慈悲是为了消除自己的恶业，因此会对皈依的因果产生怀疑。《入行论》中说：“杀人若断其手足，若能因此得解脱，为何不断手足耶？以人小苦而能除，地狱剧苦岂非善？”就像这样，对三宝有信心的人如果生病或遭受痛苦，这是来世将要感受的恶道痛苦已经耗尽的征兆。《般若断行经》中说：“善现，凡是受持、读诵、通达如此经典之语的种姓之子或种姓之女，都将遭受苦难。为什么呢？善现，这是因为这些众生前世所造的恶业，本应堕入恶道，但由于今生遭受苦难，前世的恶业得以清净，最终也能获得佛陀的菩提。”就像经文所说的那样。还有，有些人不忆念三宝，造作五无间罪、挑拨离间，以及各种伤害众生的行为，总是造作恶业，但今生却享受着丰厚的财富等。这是因为他们前世没有完全把握而做了一些善事，这些善果已经耗尽，这是他们将要堕入可怕的恶道的征兆。以前，在阎浮提（藏文， Jambudvipa，梵文天城体，Jambudvīpa，梵文罗马拟音， Jambudvipa，汉语字面意思：赡部洲）的一个罪恶深重的地区，最初七天降下麦子雨，然后降下稻米雨，然后降下珍宝雨，然后降下沙砾雨，一切都被烧毁。然后所有的山都崩塌了。

It should be known that this entirely arises from the compassion of the sole Three Jewels. Why? Because they always contemplate the benefit of sentient beings, and that is the power of compassion. In the chapter of the Truthful One: "The darkness of ignorance constantly covers, the minds of beings are obscured, if they see those who are immersed in the prison of samsara, the upright holy ones generate compassion." And: "The great compassion of the Able One always arises, it is never possible that this does not arise, it abides in the minds of all beings, therefore that Buddha has no faults." Although this is so, those with little learning may not understand that the compassion of the Three Jewels is to exhaust their own bad karma, and therefore they may doubt the cause and effect of refuge. In the Bodhicaryāvatāra: "If a murderer's hands and feet are cut off, if he is liberated, why not cut them off? If a small suffering of a human can remove the great suffering of hell, is it not good?" Like that, if a person with faith in the Three Jewels experiences illness and suffering, it is a sign that the suffering of the lower realms that will be experienced in the next life is exhausted. In the Sherchin Chöpa: "Subhuti, any son or daughter of a lineage who takes, holds, recites, and fully understands these words of the sutra will suffer. Why? Subhuti, it is because those sentient beings have done non-virtuous deeds in their previous lives that would cause them to be born in the lower realms, but by suffering in this life, those non-virtuous deeds of previous lives will be purified, and they will also attain the enlightenment of the Buddha." As the sutra says. Furthermore, those who do not remember the Three Jewels, commit the five heinous crimes, create discord, and do various harms to sentient beings, always committing evil deeds, but in this life enjoy great wealth and so on. This is because they did some virtuous deeds in their previous lives that were not fully grasped, and those virtuous results have been exhausted, and it is a sign that they will fall into a terrible lower realm. Previously, in a sinful region of Jambudvipa (藏文， Jambudvipa，梵文天城体，Jambudvīpa，梵文罗马拟音， Jambudvipa，汉语字面意思：赡部洲), first for seven days it rained barley, then it rained rice, then it rained jewels, then it rained gravel, and everything was burned.
