It is said in the Vinaya Pitaka that it is considered as an antidote to abandoning and adopting by looking at good and bad with discrimination. Likewise, if one does not ultimately rely on the sole Dharmakaya, those will abandon and deceive. As stated in the Uttaratantra: "Because of abandoning, because of the nature of deception, because of non-existence, because of being accompanied by fear, the two kinds of Dharma and the assembly of noble ones are not the ultimate refuge. Refuge is the sole Buddha, the protector has the Dharmakaya, and the Sangha is also its ultimate." Thus, the meaning of the last three lines is: In the Akanishta of self-manifestation, the Buddha who abides without being different from the Dharmata, his body is the Sangha, his speech is the Dharma, and his mind abides in the Dharmakaya of the Buddha, therefore it is believed that the three bodies are the nature of the Three Jewels, and the essence is one. As it is said in the Yeshe Drubpa: "The pure and undefiled mind is the Buddha, the unchanging and stainless is the Dharma, the perfectly complete qualities are the Sangha, therefore one's own mind is supreme." Regarding this, in order to show that there are three kinds of individuals who take refuge, from the three kinds of motivations of temporary, supreme, and unsurpassed, the small person goes to higher realms because of fear of evil destinies, the middle person seeks liberation because of fear of samsara, temporarily as long as they live, and ultimately goes to attain the fruit of Shravaka and Pratyekabuddha. The great person fears the peace of abandoning the benefit of others, and in order to liberate the great breathing beings in samsara, they go to enlightenment, which is also their own mind, the refuge of the fruit of abandoning defilement, attainment, and deception. Regarding this, there are three kinds of intelligence of individuals, the lowest of the lowest, those who hope for temporary refuge, are bound by fears that are even smaller than temporary situations, and hope for their own gods or mountains and forests, etc., as refuge. As it is said in the Sutra Ornament of the Saints: "People who are frightened by fear mostly go to mountains and forests, as well as gardens, stupas, and trees for refuge. That refuge is not the main one, that refuge is not the supreme one, relying on those refuges, one cannot be completely liberated from all suffering." As it is said. Like this, people who have not entered a philosophical system, or who have entered but cling to non-refuges as refuges.

Doubts turn into externalists, and entering the Buddhist realm, although there is a little faith in the Three Jewels, there is no ability to enter the path, and the Teacher, starting from accomplishing temporary higher states, respects the many paths he has spoken of. Not valuing the status of this life, but solely accepting the aspiration to seek the happiness and fruits of higher realms in future worlds, is a small person. As the "Lamp for the Path" says: "Whoever, with those means, seeks only the happiness of samsara for himself, that person is the lowest." As it is said. Therefore, those who take refuge in the Three Jewels are slightly differentiated from the small person, but in reality, they are only afraid because of the fear of the lower realms, aiming at the temporary result of human and heavenly realms. The time is also until the attainment of the happiness and fruits of higher realms that one takes refuge, which is not good. In the Vinaya Sutra, it is said that the Venerable Ananda told the Brahmin girl that the merits of the heavenly realm arise from taking refuge. The Blessed One said: "Ananda, that is not the case. One who seeks the happiness of existence is called an inferior person. Therefore, one should truly proclaim the merits of liberation." As it is said. Among them, liberation is only the definite good of liberation from samsara. The path of the middling person is all the Dharma spoken by the Teacher, starting from the Hearer and Solitary Realizer vehicles. Thus, with the difference of wisdom, knowing that the nature of all existence and peace is suffering, thereby generating renunciation, and aiming to obtain liberation from it for oneself, one first takes refuge, and that is temporarily for as long as one lives, and ultimately until one obtains the fruits of Hearer and Solitary Realizer. As it is said in the "Garland of Jewels Sutra": "Whoever, whenever, takes refuge in the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, that is the noble one, the four truths, suffering, the arising of suffering, the complete cessation of suffering, and the path that leads to cessation, the eight branches of the noble path, seeing with the eye of wisdom, those refuges, those refuges are venerable, those refuges are supreme, relying on those refuges,

Completely liberated from all suffering. Thus it is said. The path of the great being is the means to accomplish omniscience, namely the two great vehicles of cause and effect, Mantra and Paramita. A person who strives to practice is called a great being, whose nature is dominated by great compassion. Therefore, he fears the peace of abandoning the welfare of others, and in order to exhaust all the suffering of other sentient beings, he aims to attain the state of Buddhahood. Before that, he takes refuge in the Three Jewels. From the Great Liberation Sutra: For those who are immersed in the river of existence, abandoning the fear of peace for themselves and taking refuge is called the supreme man, called the excellent guide. Thus it is said. The time is until reaching the Bodhi tree throne, or until the immeasurable wisdom of the Buddha is accomplished in one's own mind, attaining separation, attainment, and abandoning deception, touching the refuge of the fruit. Thus, the three types of individuals are established, and the name of the fruit of the three different aspirations to accomplish the fruit is also established on the cause. Among them, the small-minded ones can go to the heavens by the cleanliness of the outsiders, abandoning harm, and practicing the Dharma. It is known from the naked son, the truthful speaker, the victorious, wrathful, radiant one, because he spoke of turning away from the ten non-virtuous deeds. Taking refuge in the inner refuge, going to heaven with a little virtue is like the son of a god who is about to be born as a pig taking refuge, thus purifying the cause of bad destinies. Thus it is said: Those who have taken refuge in the Buddha will not go to bad destinies. After abandoning the human body, they will obtain the body of a god. As it is said, it is an example. Both need to rely on the ten meritorious deeds of fortune and the formless samadhi, because without these, one cannot go to heaven. In general, the view of the Samkhya school is that liberation is only similar to things and directions. Therefore, even the essence of the Panditabhumi participates in both inner and outer, so that the mind becomes confused. Beings who have not entered the sect are like animals, and even if they enter, they are overwhelmed by ignorance and do not think about karma and the fruits of karma.
