ཀའ་བསྩལ་པ། མགོན་སྐྱབས་བྱ་བ་ཡང་། སྐྱབས་བྱ་བར་འོས་པ་ལ་སྐྱབས་བྱ་བ་ཡིན་ཏེ། ལྷས་བྱིན་ལྟ་བུ་ནི་མི་དགེ་བའི་སྡིག་པ་ཆེན་པོ་བྱས་ལ། གདོན་མི་ཟ་བར་མྱོང་བའི་ལས་དང་བཅས་པས། དེའི་ཕྱིར་ཡང་མགོན་སྐྱར་བྱར་ཡང་དཀའ་འོ། །གསོལ་བ། གལ་ཏེ་སྡིག་པ་ཆེན་པོ་བགྱིས་པ་ལ། སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་མགོན་སྐྱབས་མ་མཛད་ན། ། སྡིག་པའི་ལས་མ་མཆིས་པ་ལ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་མགོན་སྐྱབས་བགྱི་ཡང་ཅི་འཚལ། དཀོན་མཆོག་གསུམ་ལ་མགོན་སྐྱབས་མངའོ་ཞེས་ཀྱང་ཇི་སྐད་བགྱི། བཀའ་བསྩལ་པ། ལྷས་བྱིན་གྱིས་དཀོན་མཆོག་གསུམ་ལ་སྐྱབས་སུ་སོང་བ་ཡང་དག་པའི་སེམས་ཀྱིས་མ་ཡིན་ཏེ། སྐྱབས་སུ་འགྲོ་བ་གསུམ་མ་རྫོགས་སོ། །དེ་ནི་རྒྱུན་དུ་རྙེད་པ་དང་། བཀུར་སྟི་དང་། གྲགས་པ་འདོད་པའི་ཕྱིར་བདག་ནི་ཐམས་ཅད་མཁྱེན་པའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཅན་ནོ། །ཞེས་སངས་རྒྱས་ལའང་བདོ་བས་ན། དེའི་ཕྱིར་དཀོན་མཆོག་གསུམ་ལ་མཐུ་སྟོབས་ཆེན་པོ་ཡོད་མོད་ཀྱི་མགོན་སྐྱབས་སུ་མི་འགྱུར་རོ། །དཔེར་ན་རྒྱལ་པོ་མ་སྐྱེས་དགྲ་ལྟ་བུ་ལ། མཚམས་མེད་པའི་སྡིག་པ་ཡོད་དེ། མཚམས་མེད་པའི་སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བར་ལྟུང་བར་རིགས་པ་ལ། ཡང་དག་པའི་སེམས་རྩེ་གཅིག་པས་སངས་རྒྱས་ལ་སྐྱབས་སུ་གསོལ་བས་མཚམས་མེད་པའི་སྡིག་པ་བྱང་ནས། ཐིག་ནག་པོའི་སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བར་ལྟུང་ནས། མིའི་ནང་ནས་སྡིག་པ་ལྕི་པ་དང་འདྲ་བར། ཞག་བདུན་མྱོང་ཙམ་གྱིས་སྡིག་པ་ཀུན་བྱང་བས་ན། དེ་ནི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གསུམ་གྱི་མགོན་སྐྱབས་ཀྱི་མཐུ་ཞེས་བྱའོ། །གསོལ་བ། ལྷས་བྱིན་གྱི་སྡིག་པ་བགྱིས་པའི་མགོན་སྐྱབས་བྱར་མི་རུང་ངོ་ཞེས་བགྱིས་པ། མདོ་སྡེའི་ནང་ནས་གང་སུ་ཡང་རུང་། སངས་རྒྱས་ལ་སྐྱབས་སུ་སོང་ན་ངན་སོང་གསུམ་དུ་མི་ལྟུང་ངོ་ཞེས་བགྱི་བར་དོན་ཇི་ལྟ་བུ་ལགས། བཀའ་བསྩལ་པ། ལྷས་བྱིན་གྱིས་དཀོན་མཆོག་གསུམ་ལ་སྐྱབས་སུ་སོང་བས་མཚམས་མེད་པའི་སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བར་སོང་མོད་ཀྱིས། སྡུག་བསྔལ་མྱོང་བ་ཡང་ཞིང་ཆུང་ལ་བསྟི་བའི་དུས་སྐབས་ཡོད་དོ། །དཔེར་ན་མི་ཞིག་རིའམ། ནགས་ཚལ་ལམ། འབྲོག་དགོན་པ་འཇིགས་པའི་གནས་སུ་ཕྱིན་པ་ལས། གལ་ཏེ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཡིད་ལ་བྱས་ཤིང་བསམས་ན་དེའི་ཡོན་ཏན་གྱིས་འཇིགས་ཤིང་སྐྲག་པ་ཞི་བར་འགྱུར་ཏེ། དེ་བས་ན་ དཀོན་མཆོག་གསུམ་ལ་སྐྱབས་སུ་སོང་བ་ཡང་མི་རྫུན་ནོ་ཞེས་སོ། །ཚུལ་དེ་ལྟ་བུས་བློ་སྦྱངས་ནས་རྒྱུ་འབྲས་ཀྱི་སྐྱབས་འགྲོའི་མཚན་ཉིད་རྣམ་པ་གཉིས་བསྟན་པའི་ཕྱིར། དེ་ལ་རྒྱུ་དང་འབྲས་བུའི་སྐྱབས་འགྲོ་ཡི། །དམ་བཅའ་གཉིས་ལས་དུས་

答：救护之事，是对值得救护者进行救护。如提婆达多，造作了极大的不善罪业，并伴随着无法避免地感受果报的业力，因此也很难成为救护的对象。问：如果造作了极大的罪业，佛陀不给予救护，那么对于没有罪业的行为，又何必寻求佛陀的救护呢？又如何说三宝具有救护的能力呢？答：提婆达多皈依三宝，并非以真实的信心，也没有圆满皈依三宝。他总是为了获得利养、恭敬和名声，并自诩为具有一切智智者，甚至与佛陀争斗。因此，即使三宝具有强大的力量，也不会成为他的救护者。例如，阿阇世王，他犯有五无间罪，本应堕入无间地狱，但他以真实、一心一意的信心皈依佛陀，从而清净了五无间罪。他堕入黑绳地狱，就像人中罪业深重者一样，仅仅感受了七天的痛苦，就清净了一切罪业。这被称为三宝救护的力量。问：既然提婆达多造作了罪业，不应成为救护的对象，但经藏中说，无论何人，只要皈依佛陀，就不会堕入三恶道，这是什么意思呢？答：提婆达多皈依三宝，虽然最终堕入了无间地狱，但他感受痛苦的时间相对较短。例如，当一个人前往山、森林或荒凉的寂静之处等危险之地时，如果忆念佛陀，其功德就能平息恐惧和害怕。因此，皈依三宝并非虚假。以这种方式修习，是为了阐释因果皈依的两种特征。因此，对于因和果的皈依，有两种誓言，即时间。

Answer: The act of protection is to protect those who are worthy of protection. For example, Devadatta committed great unwholesome sins and was accompanied by karma that inevitably led to experiencing the consequences. Therefore, it is also difficult to become an object of protection. Question: If one commits great sins and the Buddha does not grant protection, then why seek the Buddha's protection for actions that are free from sin? And how can it be said that the Three Jewels have the power to protect? Answer: Devadatta's refuge in the Three Jewels was not with genuine faith, and he did not fully accomplish the three refuges. He always desired gain, respect, and fame, and boasted that he possessed the wisdom of omniscience, even contending with the Buddha. Therefore, even though the Three Jewels have great power, they will not become his protectors. For example, King Ajatashatru, who had committed the five heinous crimes, should have fallen into the Avici hell, but with true, single-minded faith, he took refuge in the Buddha, thereby purifying the five heinous crimes. He fell into the Black Rope Hell, like the heaviest sinner among humans, and after experiencing only seven days of suffering, he purified all his sins. This is called the power of the Three Jewels' protection. Question: Since Devadatta committed sins and should not be an object of protection, but the sutras say that whoever takes refuge in the Buddha will not fall into the three lower realms, what does this mean? Answer: Although Devadatta took refuge in the Three Jewels, he eventually fell into the Avici hell, but the time he experienced suffering was relatively short. For example, when a person goes to a dangerous place such as a mountain, forest, or desolate solitary place, if they remember the Buddha, their merits will pacify fear and dread. Therefore, taking refuge in the Three Jewels is not false. By practicing in this way, it is to explain the two characteristics of refuge in cause and effect. Therefore, for the refuge of cause and effect, there are two vows, namely time.
