Listen carefully. The hells, such as the Uninterrupted one, which are unbearable, I have spoken of as their abodes. There, there are immeasurable eons. Therefore, at all times, never despise it. Thus it is said. In the "Fifty Verses on the Guru," it says: That one who reviles the teacher will die from plagues, leprosy, and all kinds of diseases, as well as demons, epidemics, and poisons. Kings, fire, venomous snakes, water, dakinis, thieves, and demons, as well as false guides, will also kill him, and then sentient beings will go to hell. Thus it is said. Now, in order to explain the meaning of good aspirations, it is a treasure possessing immeasurable rivers of nectar-like Dharma, related to the good intentions that are absorbed into one's being, relying on the good guru who teaches, the key instructions do not stray from skillful means, possessing the powerful mantra of good renunciation, striking at the root of not being weary of samsara, it is a good aspiration possessing four qualities. This is the intention of the Ornament of the Sutras, as it says: Excellent intention and excellent teacher, excellent means and excellent renunciation, are the characteristics of definite good aspirations. As the teacher says, excellent intention is that which, relying on the activity of whatever Dharma is the object, is absorbed into one's being, and its essence is also desire. By relying on various means of intention or desire, the mind is tamed, therefore the Bhagavan said, by taming the mind, happiness is attained. Thus it is. The teacher depends on being related to the good guru, therefore the teacher Hero says: When you rely on the holy one and are surrounded by friends of mindfulness, you will abide in mindfulness, like a vine clinging to a sala tree, you will be embraced by excellent glory. Thus it is said. Whatever the meaning of what is desired, accomplishing it easily without relying on great effort is the path of key instructions, but if there is no limitless sequence of methods as its aid, then the key instructions will also be scattered. For example, if one does not rely on the means of the five aspects of conduct, such as giving, then one will not be able to realize the essence of the key instructions, the Prajnaparamita. Thus it is also said in the Bodhicaryavatara: All these limbs

As it is said in the scriptures: The Buddha taught for the sake of wisdom. As it is said. The one who becomes a helper to all is the noble mind of renunciation. If there is no renunciation, then initially there is no aversion to samsara. Therefore, like a swan losing its nourishment, in the middle it does not become arrogant towards the virtuous friend. In the end, because all the paths of faith and diligence are lost, the root of existence cannot be cut off. Like cutting off a branch of a tree, this path is not enough to be the cause of liberation, so it is advised to the lama: For example, if a tree is not uprooted from its roots, even if it is cut down, it will only grow back in the field. Likewise, if the root of existence is not removed, these sufferings will not cease again and again. In particular, those who have taken the vows of ordination become characterized by individual liberation once renunciation arises in their own minds. From then on, it is only an image of discipline, as the former abbots have also said. The opposite of a good wish is: entering the door of Dharma but becoming tired of it, hearing, thinking, and meditating mixed with poisonous intentions. Losing faith in the Dharma, guarding vows becomes a burden. With the curse of the eight worldly concerns, wandering in the hypocritical conduct of the Great Vehicle. This is the obstacle to destroying the asceticism of good wishes. Thus, although some people are brought into the Dharma by relatives and friends, because they have not accumulated merit in the past and have not made good wishes, they become tired of the Dharma as soon as they enter the Dharma, becoming servants of kings, or slaves of fools, householders, etc., and they engage in the same thoughts and deeds as them. Even if they do a little hearing and thinking, because they only keep this life in mind, with bad intentions, they initially worry about not learning the Dharma, in the middle they worry about not being able to obtain profit from it, and in the end they become attached to jealousy of others, thus only becoming the cause of samsara, going against the path of liberation. Because the mind is not reduced to the Dharma, there is no faith in the Dharma, and without faith, hearing, thinking, and meditating, listening and speaking, guarding vows, etc., all become too heavy and a burden. In particular, the profound and vast Dharma of the Great Vehicle cannot be accommodated in the mind, and it is regarded as contradictory, or one does not understand the connection between behavior and timing, deceiving oneself with the eight worldly concerns that appear to be Dharma.
