'Accompanied by...relied upon by the Buddha' means: In the past, what did the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas rely upon? What is accomplished by relying on it? The light of wisdom will greatly increase, burning all the demonic forces. Here, if the light (body) of wisdom is generated through the six branches of yoga, it will burn the assembly of demons, including the object and the subject, making all (inner and outer) things without obscuration. What does it accomplish? It gives equal bliss to the bodies of yogis who desire, etc., which comes from yoga. It means: The light of wisdom makes the aggregates that have become the nature of demons without obscuration, causing the Bodhicitta to flow from the forehead, and when the Bodhicitta flows down, it gives the four joys (of flowing down). Then, when returning upwards from the vajra tip, (ascending) through the yoga of the year, it gives the four fruits such as the excellent and unchanging homogeneous cause. Now, regarding the nature of the four empowerments of wisdom, innate wisdom, etc., and the entry (into) the luminosity of the mind, it is not explained in detail here because it has been clearly explained in the Immaculate Commentary. Now, the practice of transcendental empowerment will be clearly explained. By obtaining empowerment, etc., all activities are not completed by that alone, and it is necessary to accumulate merit and wisdom. Therefore, immediately after the yogi obtains the manifest empowerment (that ripens the cause), he should abandon all (worldly) activities and meditate on non-dual wisdom. In order to accomplish the Mahamudra (supreme and unchanging) siddhi, the practice is: the yogi practices through the six branches of yoga. First, the yogi, without attachment to the bliss of body, speech, mind, and transference, (relies on the three solitudes), and then cultivates the mind. Regarding this, in the home (a unified place where the wealthy reside), or in the cave (a place where one renounces everything and travels everywhere), through the respective branches of abandonment, practice smoke, etc. Between various forms, practice individual abandonment. First, the impermanent aggregates --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

becomes an obstacle. Therefore, the Jñānaskandha (aggregate of wisdom) will initially become pure. By virtue of it, the yogi will be able to bestow excellent words, etc. (fruits). Thereafter, the form of emptiness will appear, seeing the nature of the three realms, like a dream and illusion, consciousness appearing separately. The meditation of abandoning separately is in the unreal sky, because it is free from the meditation of conceptual thoughts. That meditation itself is non-meditation. That meditation itself is the object, whatever is seen is not an object. Past, future, and present, objects are seen without being examined. Therefore, the meditation of abandoning separately is not the meditation of conceptual thoughts. Similarly, in the empowerment instruction, it is taught that meditation on the form of non-existence is not the meditation of yogis, because emptiness is seen without being examined. The mind is neither real nor unreal, like a mirror (prāṇa), from which a maiden's image is born from non-existence. In the sky, the yogi, for the past and future dharmas, that object is not real, because the object has the meaning of emptiness. Like dreams, illusions, and optical illusions. And so on. Similarly, in the Guhyasamāja Tantra, it is said that the object of meditation on non-existence is not the meditation that should be meditated upon. Thus, because the object is non-object, therefore meditation will not be attained. Thus, after the yogi knows the equality of the form of emptiness, from the outside, meditate on the second branch of the fivefold samādhi. Abandoning all actions, one should look at that (empty) form. For the dharmas seen in the sky, the entry of the mind is wisdom. Similarly, that (conceptual) object, the yogi should hold. Then there is discrimination, which is suitable for holding objects. Then for all objects, the entry of the mind is joy. Then there is unwavering bliss, all objects are perfectly blissful. Thus, the ten samādhis become the distinction between the grasped and the grasper. Through separate abandonment and samādhi, thus the limb of approach is spoken. Then, through the third limb, the yogi performs Prāṇāyāma (breath control). Blocking the paths of the two right and left channels, causing them to flow into the central channel. After the prāṇa enters the central channel, the ten mandalas of earth, etc., should always be blocked in the right and left channels. That is also for going and coming, one should know the ten aspects. The sun --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
