因此,(上师)为了阐明,如果有人不具备四身(སྐུ་བཞི།,four bodies of a Buddha: nirmāṇakāya, sambhogakāya, dharmakāya, and svābhāvikakāya)自性的资格,他就无法获得大手印(ཕྱག་རྒྱ་ཆེན་པོ།,Mahāmudrā)的成就。

Therefore, (the Guru) explained that if one does not have the qualification of the nature of the four bodies (སྐུ་བཞི།, four bodies of a Buddha: nirmāṇakāya, sambhogakāya, dharmakāya, and svābhāvikakāya), one will not attain the accomplishment of Mahāmudrā (ཕྱག་རྒྱ་ཆེན་པོ།, Mahāmudrā). He explained this with four verses (83rd), and gave examples. For example, starting from 'the previous trees,' here it is exemplified that just as very delicious grapes do not grow from the Sngon bu tree and the Tig ta tree, nectar that makes one immortal does not arise from poison that quickly kills, very pleasing lotuses do not arise from the Gya skegs tree, the bliss of Nirvana that is completely unattached does not arise from an empty body, the eight worldly accomplishments do not arise from non-virtuous deeds such as killing, ascending to heaven does not arise from slaughtering livestock during sacrificial offerings, attaining the supreme state does not arise from the cessation of the senses, and the all-knowing speech does not arise from the Vedas. Similarly, supreme bliss does not arise from an impermanent and impure mind. (84th) Therefore, 'For sentient beings,' etc., refers to if someone does not wish to accomplish worldly and transcendental achievements through non-virtuous deeds and experiencing suffering, then know that his mind is blessed by demons. Lord of men! Then, why do demons obstruct unsurpassed Bodhi? (The Guru) explained, 'Therefore,' etc., refers to therefore, in the future, the minds of those people will be led by demons to engage in the karma of wandering in samsara. Then, if one wishes to accumulate the accumulation of merit that benefits sentient beings and the accumulation of non-conceptual wisdom, then know that it is blessed by the power of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. For what reason, having destroyed the afflictive demons with the vows (samaya), those who accomplish non-abiding Nirvana will go forth. (85th) Therefore, (the Guru) explained that if one does not fundamentally realize one's own mind, then no one can give unsurpassed Bodhi, he said, 'If one dwells in the three realms,' etc. Here, if the Bhagavan and the wish-fulfilling jewel could accomplish the goals of sentient beings, then why are all sentient beings still suffering in samsara?

If the meaning of mundane and transcendental are not yet accomplished, it is because the reason for beings not achieving is the impurity of mind, not anything else. If it is the case that things are not accomplished due to the impurity of mind, then the Buddha (梵文:Buddha,觉悟者) is said to be unnecessary. To illustrate this, such as 'abiding in beings,' etc., this is because due to the power of past negative actions, beings are unable to see the Bhagavan (梵文:Bhagavan,世尊) abiding in their own minds, just as people without eyes cannot see the sun. Just as there is no fault in the sun, so too should we understand the Buddha. Therefore, for beings who in all ways do not possess the fortune, the Buddha is said to be unnecessary. Likewise, for beings who have become endowed with fortune, if their own minds become pure, they will transform into the very nature of the Buddha, and because they have attained Buddhahood itself, what need is there for another victor abiding outside? What is the nature of Buddhahood itself? Such as 'the producer,' etc. For example, if a cause has decayed without producing a sprout, then a sprout will not arise, because there is no cause. Or, if it arises from what has not decayed, then there is no difference between the seed and the sprout, because their nature does not change. But it is not so. If it does not arise from decay, and does not arise from non-decay, then what is the relationship between cause and effect? That which was previously a thing is said to have died from the birth of another; it is not born of its own nature. This is because the seed is not the sprout, because its state has changed. The sprout does not arise apart from the seed, because it is devoid of another cause. Similarly, 'not from self, not from other, not from both, not without a cause, not without no cause.' Whatever things have arisen, will never exist. Therefore, just as the Buddha has come from emptiness with great bliss, so too does he depart into that very nature. What is that moment of bliss? Such as 'abiding in bliss, following bliss,' etc., this refers to the moment of supreme, unchanging, co-emergent bliss.
