If one wishes to attain the accomplishment of residing in the three realms, it can only be achieved through meditative concentration. If one wishes to easily obtain wisdom that is difficult to find, it can only be attained through blessings, within the Vajra Lotus. Therefore, such Vajradhara (Holder of the Vajra) constantly bestows upon beings the fruit of bliss and equality.) This is the essence of the glorious supreme practice: That which causes beings to fall into desire, the yogi uses that very thing to transcend existence. That which causes beings to die by poison, with the knowledge of the poison mantra, one uses that very thing to cure diseases. So said the Bodhisattva, the Protector of the World. Thus, what is to be accomplished by the union of the four mudras is the essence of the Mahamudra accomplishment. The foremost of the practices is the remembrance of the practice endowed with the glory of the non-dual wisdom of bliss and emptiness, and the yoga of great practice Samadhi, which is more secret than the secret, and should be kept hidden. (71) Therefore, the yogi who wishes to attain unsurpassed enlightenment through the six-limbed union from the Guru's instructions should purify the body. If the body is purified, (the mind itself) becomes the Buddha and attains non-abiding Nirvana. For that reason, it is taught that there is no other Buddha in the three realms apart from the mind, and that all sentient beings are Buddhas, and so on. Here, Knowing that all sentient beings are Buddhas, the suffering of beginningless samsara is cut off. Furthermore, if one reviles or deceives them, one will obtain suffering such as hell for an endless time. Therefore, knowing the qualities and faults, one should not judge wise and unwise people with an impure mind. (79) Furthermore, without sentient beings, liberation such as love and the perfections such as generosity will not be perfected. Therefore, all sentient beings should be respected, offered to, and regarded as one's own deity. Furthermore, sentient beings residing in the six realms or the three realms are of the nature of anger and so on. Therefore, if sentient beings are harmed, one's own benefit will not be accomplished. If one's own benefit is not accomplished, how can one benefit others? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If (a Bodhisattva) does not transform and does not wish to accomplish his own benefit, then that mind is the mind of a demon, not the mind of the Tathagata Bhagavan (*bcom ldan 'das*, The Blessed One). Therefore, one who harms the benefit of oneself and others is a demon, and one who accomplishes both is the Tathagata Bhagavan. Knowing this, whenever (your) mind turns away from the unsurpassed Bodhi, or when hatred and other negative emotions arise towards sentient beings, one should immediately focus on emptiness (*stong pa nyid*), and yogis should practice loving-kindness and so forth. This is what (the scripture) is expressing, as stated in 'The place of the three realms' and so on. Therefore, (the scripture) indicates that there is no other path to unsurpassed Bodhi other than through the practice of emptiness and loving-kindness and so forth. The so-called 'limit of the world realm' refers to the limit and shape of the world realm as spoken by the Tathagata Bhagavan, which is not non-dual wisdom. Why? Because the power of merit and the power of sin cause the world to appear as vast or small. If the world and sentient beings are immeasurable, then is the Buddha also so? The so-called 'Buddhas' refers to the fact that the body of the Buddha is immeasurable because it is the nature of innate bliss. If sentient beings and Buddhas are immeasurable in ultimate truth, then why does (the Buddha) speak of the limit of the world? The so-called 'limit is sentient beings' refers to the limit of the world realm as spoken by the Tathagata Bhagavan, which is shown to be in accordance with the thoughts of sentient beings abiding in the ground of karma, and is not the ultimate truth. If the limit of the world is spoken because of your own desires and arrogance, then there is no difference between non-Buddhists and the Tathagata Bhagavan, because (this) is in accordance with desires and arrogance that do not understand the thoughts of sentient beings. Therefore, without realizing the unchanging bliss, one cannot attain the unsurpassed Bodhi of the Tathagata Bhagavan in ultimate truth, so no other path is shown. Therefore, abandoning emptiness with characteristics, turning into the nature of emptiness. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
