Upstream from here is the seat of Druk Ralung, the founding monastery of Tsangpa Gyare, known as Druk Ralung. The main sacred objects include the statue of Tsangpa Gyare, 'Subduer of the Three Realms,' and countless other sacred objects. One day's journey down from the four gates is Pelkhor Chode Monastery, built by Gyaltse Chögyal Rabten Künsang Phak, said to have been prophesied by the Buddha. There are sixteen monastic colleges of the Sakya, Butön, and Gelug schools, and many sacred objects. The main sacred object is the Thubchen statue in the assembly hall, and the temple inside the Great Stupa, which houses almost all the deities of the Hundred Methods of Accomplishment. Here, there are many rituals and offerings of the four tantric classes. On the other side of the monastery is Tsechen Monastery, the residence of the incarnation of Butön Rinpoche, the great accomplished Kunga Lodrö, and others. This Gyaltse area is known as Nyangser Zhung Ringmo. To the south of the Nyang River, there is Tsenas Salhakang, known as one of the border-taming temples, where the statue of the Great Mother is enshrined. To the north, there is Nyangtö Pökhang, considered one of the four major Gelug monasteries. It is said that there were many inner sacred objects from the time of Khache Panchen. Crossing the river from Panam, you arrive at Shalu Monastery, the seat of Butön Rinpoche. In the center of Shalu, there are many sacred objects, including the self-arisen Great Compassionate One. In Ribuk, there is a replica of Butön Rinpoche, and the Great Stupa of Liberation through Seeing, built to commemorate his mother, and in particular, the empowerment vase water of Virupa. Although there are some inner sacred objects such as the personal belongings of Butön Rinpoche, it is under the jurisdiction of Shigatse. Below the center of Shalu, in Nyangme Gyangong, there is a blessed protector's shrine of Lhamo Rabtenma. This is where Chöje Sakya Pandita took his vows of full ordination. It is said that drinking the water used to wash hair in the blessed stone basin will increase wisdom. Near Shalu, in Lhagya, is Tharpa Monastery, the seat of Tharpa Lotsawa. It is said that there used to be many inner sacred objects such as the begging bowl of Khache Panchen Rinpoche. Traveling along the highway from Panam, you can reach Shigatse in about a day. In between, there is a small village called Zur Sangngak Ling. It used to be a large Nyingma Kama monastery.

It is (referring to a location). Nowadays, in a residence similar to the residence of the Zur lineage, there are the commitment objects and highly blessed kila of the great accomplished lamas of the Zur tradition. Near the outskirts of the town of Shigatse, there is a large stupa containing the relics of U Yukpa Rigpai Senge. It is said that circumambulating it and making prayers will make one skilled in debate. In Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, the main object of veneration is Jampa Chen (Maitreya Buddha), the reliquary stupas of Panchen Lobsang Chökyi Gyaltsen, Lobsang Yeshe, Palden Yeshe, and Tenpai Nyima. In particular, there are many old and highly blessed sacred objects such as Gadong Jampa and Durmik Drolma. Inside, there is Je Tsongkhapa's Dharma implements, robes of many former Kadampa masters, and various other sacred objects. It is said that there is a gem called "Doma Mo's Vase," but to visit, one needs to offer a hundred offerings and donations. Going uphill from Tashi Lhunpo, there is the place founded by Tumton Lodrö Drakpa, "the seat of successive Chimtons, the source of the Kadampa teachings, known as Narthang Monastery," where there are many blessed representations of body, speech, and mind in general. In particular, there is a blessed image known as "Chu Mik Drolma" (Tara of the Water Spring), as well as prints of the Kangyur and Tengyur carved during the time of Polhané, the Jataka Tales of the Buddha, and prints of thangkas of the Sixteen Arhats. Inside, there is Dromtonpa's crystal staff, many former Kadampa lamas, and in particular, the personal belongings of the incarnations of the Narthang lamas, the noble Sthaviras. To visit, one needs to apply in writing from Tashi Lhunpo. Behind this place is the extraordinary retreat place of the Kadampa tradition called Jangchen Retreat, where Narthang Sangye Gompa and others practiced. It is a special place where Palgon Zhal (Mahakala) is seen. Near Narthang Monastery is a place called Tsang Chu Mik Ringmo, which was formerly a large Kadampa monastery where Phakpa Rinpoche turned the great wheel of Dharma, but now it is a village. One can see parts of the temple and the Three Jewels. A short distance from Narthang Monastery is Rong Evam Monastery, with five Lhakhangs, eighteen Khangtsens, etc. In general, there are many representations of body, speech, and mind, and in particular, the Ngorchen Zimchung in the Ladrang government, the Lamdre lineage masters in Lam Zapuk, and various handwritten texts.
