The key to transcending the summit. In the Nyingma school, there are three lineages: the Kama (oral transmission), Terma (treasure teachings), and Dagnang (pure visions). Firstly, in Mahayoga, there is the subtle delineation of the Magical Net; in Anuyoga, there is the self-arising meditation of the Compendium of Intentions; in Atiyoga, there are: the teachings of the Nyang style of the Mind Section, the teachings of the All-Creating King's Intent, the teachings of the Aro tradition, the teachings of the Longdé Vajra Bridge, and the Heart Essence of the Manngakdé, the teachings of the Great Drop. Secondly, there are the teachings of the Great Compassionate King's method, the wrathful black Dzogchen Tumpo of Nyang Ter with the seven-day practice, the Dakini Heart Essence, the Lama practice of the Vidyadhara Mind Drop, the longevity practice of the Immortal Essence, and Vajrasattva, etc., for the time being, just these. There are also the teachings of the Northern Treasure Kadam, the essential condensed treasure text of the Heart Essence, the teachings of the Compendium of Intentions of the All-Good Mind, composed by Rinpoche Sungtrul Tsultrim Dorje. Furthermore, although there are many ways to teach the profound pure vision teachings, here, for the sake of auspiciousness, the life practice root teachings of Lhatsun Chenmo, the Tumpo, Chö practice, and Powa, as well as the spontaneously accomplished pure vision of Rigdzin Tshewang Norbu, and the three longevity teachings of the nectar essence of Tsepakmé (Amitayus) of the Fifth Dalai Lama Rinpoche. Thus, in the ancient secret Nyingma school, there are fifteen teachings, totaling fifty profound teachings. Taking this as the foundation, the others are done as teachings and transmissions, so there are many internal classifications, based on the Seven Points of Mind Training, from which develop three different ways of explaining, the Eight Sessions practice, and the Eight Verses practice are the actual teachings. Transforming happiness and suffering into the path, the essence of dependent arising, and the oral transmission of the Yumka (consort practice) are added, becoming eight, etc., endlessly. Relying on many non-sectarian holders, integrating the three doors of body, speech, and mind into one, even with the effort in this direction, may the teachings flourish long! Born from the water treasury of altruistic intention, possessing the white light of vast learning, may the lotus feet of the upholders of the teachings remain firm for a long time! May the power of truth of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of all directions and times, and the pervasive and eternal power of the Dharmadhatu, cause the teachings to flourish long! May the glorious Kunga Drolchok Losal Gyatso, be able to expound the categories of the root hundred teachings.

If described like a wondrous, magical key, there are three: the method of instruction as directly shown in the Treatise on the Jewel Family (Ratnagotravibhāga); the method of instruction combining sutra and tantra; and the method of instruction from the close path of supreme Dharma, mantra. The first of these again has two: the practice possessing the greatness of the lineage of transmitted precepts, and the practice of unerringly combining the words and meaning as mother and child. The first of these is the mind training "Separation from the Four Attachments" given by Jetsun Jamyang to Sachen, extracted from the words of Sakya Paṇḍita and Nupa. Its root verses are: If you are attached to this life, you are not a religious person; if you are attached to the three realms, you have no renunciation; if you are attached to self-interest, you are not a Bodhisattva; if attachment arises, there is no (correct) view. And so on. The instruction on the Seven Points of Mind Training of the Great Vehicle, extracted from the writings of Gyalse Rinpoche. Its root verses are: The preliminaries are reliance (on a spiritual friend) 1, the actual practice is the two Bodhicittas 2, transforming adverse conditions into the path 3, practicing the essence in brief phrases, the measure of having trained the mind 5, the commitments to be learned 6, and guarding vows 7, may we be blessed to hold them dearer than life. And so on. Here, the mind training of Zhonnu Gyalchokpa, etc., seems to have been given previously. The mind training oral transmission given by Vajravārāhī and Tārā to Sumpa Lotsāwa Palchok Dangpo Dorje. Its root verses are: If you are content with whatever arises, then whatever you do is blissful; if your mind stays where it is placed, then you are free to go or stay; if your mind turns to Dharma, then even dying is worthwhile; if your mind realizes the deathless, then there is no death. And so on. Extracted from the instruction manual of the transmission of the Five Treatises of Maitreya, heard by Ngok Loden Sherab from the Brahmin Sajjan, the instruction manual of Bhagavan Ratnarakṣita. The view of other-emptiness (gzhan stong) transmitted from Ngok to Tsakha Poché, the intention of Maitrīpa, extracted from that very instruction manual. It is said that at this time in Tibet, before Dolpopa, although other-emptiness was proclaimed, it was not widespread. Secondly, the practice of unerringly showing the words and meaning as mother and child. Extracted from the instruction manual of Chim Namkha Drak, transmitted from Narthangpa, the gradual path of the three types of individuals of the Kadampa. Its root verses are: Small, medium, and great, thus know the three types of individuals. And so on, it is the stages of the path for accomplishing the three: higher rebirth, liberation, and omniscience. Transmitted from Sharawa to Gtumton, widely propagated by Dromton, etc.
