Because it is the cause of dust, and because the producer and the produced are unreasonable. Thus, if there is no arising in the beginning, there will be no cessation in the end. If these two are not present, then being in the middle is also impossible, because they are established in dependence on each other. The appearance of arising, ceasing, and being in the middle as deities is only in the face of a deluded mind, but in reality, it is not truly established, therefore it is without inherent existence. So, is mere non-existence the ultimate reality? No, because non-existence must depend on existence. How can non-existence, which has never existed from the beginning, be established? Both existence and non-existence are even more not the ultimate reality, because these two are mutually contradictory in substance, and it is impossible for both existence and non-existence to be established on one basis, and all the reasons mentioned earlier will fall upon it. A third category that is neither existence nor non-existence is impossible for objects of knowledge. Therefore, according to this reasoning. No matter how deeply one analyzes, one can never reach the end of elaboration, because from the object's own side, all elaboration is pacified. The fourth part includes: the way to stop all grasping, and the way to abide in equanimity at the end of analysis, which are two. The first is: "All that is to be refuted is elaboration," etc. It means that in the face of the ultimate analysis of reasoning consciousness, the elaboration to be refuted, whether it is existence, non-existence, both, or neither, each individual is not truly established, because according to the reasoning mentioned earlier, it is not established by nature from the beginning. The general elaboration of these four gathered together is also not truly established, because there is no basis for fabrication. Therefore, since all elaborations of both general and specific characteristics are not truly existent, the established meaning of negating them, that is, the general characteristic of non-elaboration, is also not truly established, because negating non-existence cannot establish existence. Therefore, in reality, non-elaboration itself is not existent by nature, so in the state of being free from all grasping and grasper, all elaborations of consciousness are pacified in the inconceivable nature of reality. The teacher Nagarjuna said: "Not born from another, nor ceased, Not elaborated by elaborations, Without conceptualization, meaning not different, That is the characteristic of that." And, the protector Shantideva said: "When there is existence and non-existence, the consciousness of"
