Instructions to the Meditator: The Essence of Nectar, the Stages of the Path Instructions to the Meditator: The Essence of Nectar, the Stages of the Path Homage! Instructions to the Meditator: A treatise called "The Essence of Nectar, the Stages of the Path." Homage! To the wisdom body of all the Buddhas with their spiritual children, to the incomparable kindness of the Lama, from the depths of my heart, I respectfully prostrate, and slightly unfold the profound instructions: If someone is determined to be liberated from samsara and desires to attain the supreme state of enlightenment, then first, they should rely on the one who shows the path, approaching them with the three ways of pleasing the spiritual friend. With firm faith in the points of what to adopt and abandon as instructed by the Lama, through the combination of listening and contemplation, awaken the wisdom that arises from meditation. By not transgressing the vows that have been taken, one attains a state free from regret, and from that, it is said that single-pointed meditation and the wisdom of discriminating the Dharma arise. Therefore, regarding the three trainings themselves, through the differences of inferior, middling, and superior, recognize that they can produce the fruits of Shravaka, Pratyekabuddha, and complete enlightenment, thereby purifying one's view and conduct. First, if one analyzes the co-emergent innate self-grasping with wisdom, one will not find an established entity with the nature of one or many. This object that is grasped as "I," if broken down into its coarse, subtle, and directional components, then each part is merely a conceptual imputation. The various consciousnesses that grasp there, like the object and subject in a dream, because they rely on falsehood, how can a true entity be established? The experience of non-dual wisdom is also examined with the reasoning of encountering the three times, in the middle of arising and ceasing, there is no grasping, so it cannot reach the end of elaboration. All the elaborations that should be refuted, because their nature has not been determined from the very beginning, therefore, the freedom from elaboration that refutes it also does not exist in reality. Therefore, through the analysis of the object, the subject abides in the inexpressible, primordial space, this inconceivable rest is called abiding meditation. For all beings who have not realized the nature of this state, who are like dreams, with illusory compassion, in order to attain the state of enlightenment, In order to quickly attain supreme wisdom, the unsurpassed Vajrayana, which is distinguished by the differences of skillful means, is what those with intelligence should accept. In order to awaken the channels, winds, bindus, and wisdom element into the fruit of the four bodies.
